en-us Steam Community RSS Yes that's right, Minecraft is now compatible with Steam VR. How? A Minecraft mod for Minecraft. Used to be used for Oculus Rift but now has been adapted for Vive roomscale experience. I've been stuck in my Minecraft world for days now and let me tell you what's awesome about it. Turning off teleportation lets you walk around holding left trigger, while the left grip button jumps. Creative mode + double jumping = superman mode. The experience of flying is really amazing. You hold the sword like you'd expect and you can physically hit the blocks to break them as well. It's really fun to quickly build a world on PC then experience it in Minecraft. Currently the mod only supports Minecraft version 1.7.1 which isn't really old so its still buttloads of fun. The mods actually been out for awhile now but obtaining the mod and making it VR ready takes a little bit of time, hence the reason it isn't blowing up all over the internet.
