This tournament was a great journey with a lot of ups and downs. We all took a piece of useful information from it, and hopefully the upcoming events will be more smooth. Nonetheless, thanks again to all of the streamers, casters, teams that participated, and you! the viewers that cheered up for your favorite players and teams!

Important to note from now on: DO NOT use Error #10 for tournament matches. The scoring system on that server has been changed.

From now on, players are due to call a vote, to choose who gets which tank, which can be done by typing !votetank in chat.

Read the announcement for the entire message. Here are the most important parts:

HOW TO VOTE ON THE MAP POOL: The captain (or other member) of each team messages me or EmptyBlue with the four most preferred and four least preferred maps of their team (that's eight maps in total). You don't have to rank the maps further; every "preferred" vote counts as a plus and every "not preferred" vote counts as a minus.

Map options: Dead Center, Dark Carnival, Swamp Fever, Hard Rain, The Parish, No Mercy, Death Toll, Dead Air, Blood Harvest, The Passifice, Cold Stream, Dark Carnival: Remix, Hard Rain: Downpour and Custom. That's 14 options in total to choose from.

At least one custom map will be played in the tournament.

Please message the votes of your team before the deadline which is 23:59 CET on Friday the 1st of May.

We are not making decisions based on anyone's "crying". We are redirecting this tournament to follow the footsteps of the previous tournaments hosted on Error. No more Wild West over here.

And to clarify, since some people have drawn their own conclusions about the statement before, both "active" and "t1" are relative terms and t1 refers nowadays more to a skill level than the config itself since of course people play different configs.

Furthermore, "should consist of" is *not* the same as "can only consist of". There is a difference, and the assessments of the teams' line-ups will be made on a case-by-case basis just like last year.

After a discussion regarding the allowed entries in the tournament, we have came to the conclusion that the teams should consist of active T1 players and players that have not been active on a high competitive level for the past five years. If you are aware that your team's line-up might not meet these requirements, you have time until 23:59 CET on Tuesday the 28th of April to make changes to your team's roster. After that point, we will assess whether the teams comply with the ruling or not. Teams that do not fit the requirements may be kicked out of the tournament or asked to make specific changes.

next tourney will be alright for all error server players :) even tho I am pretty not active anymore. co admin will be bence (we will have the same rights on the tournament. and we will get error server admins help as well, but only from background. pls respect that when its time. error admin will only help the tourney admins from the back and wont be there for your mssg's

also to the zm players I hope you understand I am not willing to continue this tournament myself. its like 100% opposite rn from what I wanted in beginning, beside me working in shifts and mostly late.
to the error server players I am sorry it happened this way. I see most known error players are out of the tourney rn OR didnt even sign up coz it is now how it is. I SWEAR that in a few months there will be a tourney for the error community only. I will take the bad experiences and will just do it as I want without letting ppl telling me do it different. I rushed hard into it and fell for low tries to convince me changing things. wont happen again, also I will NOT do the next tournament alone. more about that another time. I hope you will kinda 4give me this bad try soon and be down for a REAL error server tournament. I rlly tried. first I didnt even want to play in the tourney, I did it for you...

Well it just so happens that I tried to contact people in hopes of carrying out this tournament, but if you want to be the headmaster, I can offer my help as co-admin etc.

Okay so I guess I will go ahead and take over this tourney, since too many people are interested, yet nobody wants to continue what Rody started..

Guess it will be reasonable to delay it for a few more days, hear out what concerns people have, and what other suggestions/new ideas there are before setting a final date for everything..

And he *still* won't come online on his main account. Wonder why that is.

But I won't bother with this drama queen anymore. If I want to host a T1 tournament, I will do it on grounds that haven't been poisoned by someone more concerned about their own tender feelings than other members of the community or the game itself.

Like joji said, I think you should still let this tournament happen, since there are 12 teams signed up already. It could still be exciting. And even if you don't want to organize this, there might be other people that do want to make this happen, maybe if you find such a person you could pass the responsibility onto him/her.

well... idk where to start tbh.... ty @all for participating... but I have to make tell that the ez1 tournament will be canceled. I admit it was 100% my fault. I wanted a error community tournament. but I fell for the way some people KINDA tried to manipulate me. I didnt plan it much in forehand and as soon as someone complained about smth I just changed it. so I kinda rushed into it.. shoulnt have done that but it happened. I hope you understand and forgive me this retarded try. I rlly tried to give my best on this kinda rushed error tournament. I promise we will make one, witch professional support from ppl for me being the tournament admin in a few months. I swear this ♥♥♥♥ will never happen again, it just came to a part where I maybe see like 5% players being a part of this community, 95% just coming for a kinda ez win and thats never what I wanted....

I also did let some ppl kinda manipulate me, like it happened with me lowering the required hours on error server recently. I am just about to use the maps in combination with the double elimination system to at least KINDA restore the balance. for a (almost) perfect balance, which is pretty impossible already, its sadly a bit too late. next tournament will be better, just try to enjoy this one, even when its only the experience at the end...
