Defeat on the eastern frontier, invasion from the north, our allies failing us. The Eastern Roman Empire lies in peril, we must secure our borders and ensure the Empire's survival. Emperor Justinian has been crowned, and the Empire must begin to rebuild.

The Western Empire is shattered, Britannia has fallen. The Germanic tribes push against their frontiers in Gaul, and rebellion is stirring in Iberia. We cannot rely on the West for aid, we remain the strongest bastion of Rome. Our culture, wealth, and military strength rivals that of every other nation in this world.

To begin we must secure Constantinople from the nomadic hordes fleeing south. If Constantinople falls, the Empire falls.

Hi guys. I have been allowed by the past Admin to restart this group. I have expierience with other roleplay's and I am excited to lead this one. I will kickstart the group by talking with the people currently holding each position and from there I think we will hold an election for the positions that are not.

Unfortunately this group has fallen into inactivity. I alone cannot keep it going, everyone with a postion was needed to keep the Eastern Empire going, however that did not happen. While there were few who worked to keep the Empire alive, that was not enough. I would like to thank everyone for joining, and helping make this RP a fun experience, and ensuring that it went on as long as it did.

Today the RP is temporarily suspended. If anyone wishes to keep it moving, please message me, and we can work together to create activity and get things moving again. However for now, the group is shut down.
