Yeah- there are a ton of pricks sending links to a site in Amsterdam that will take your steam logon info... usually promising some free game promotion- some hacked accounts have also been spamming the hell out of groups with "announcements" every 5 minutes with the same kind of crap- let's hope none of our guys takes the "plunge" and compromises this group, too... (ps- coy must have got hacked himself)

SO BEWARE - they promise a free game with a link to a fake steam site that steals your login info

The only "non issue" bugs I ran into was a pathfinding problem crossing the great lakes (only at one point, but persistent on reboots and through time) and the invisible HUD once "filled in" with flag graphics in the campaign. I haven't, admittedly, tried all the game modes yet since I've been going mad with the JEDI Campaign, but logged about 40 hrs of flawless playtime since install)

I wanted to say the intro video was SUPERB, and I LOVED the way keeps playing in the bg through the menus (CA ought to copy that!). Congrats on another flawless release, Hip! Your work REALLY is appreciated here, boss.

I was slack and offline over the break, but to compensate I included the 4.91 installer plus the 4.9.3 update... If you're playing the latest update, please leave comments about any bugs you happen to run into- comments for hip much appreciated. too (I LOVE the Ultimate Campaign - British (and other) historical India holdings accurate at start is really nice! I loved the new Scottish Skins for Brit units built on turn one in Scotland ... the battle axe - pistol unit made for some Indiana Jones gun to an knife fight moments against the warpath natives in Campaign, and the much wider variety of shipping units make marine engagements much more realistic (even if the cpu buys tons of flash Fluyts and Galleon variants and not as many easy to waste merchantmen, etc). Been playing 4 turns per year and changing the drum and fife options each time I startup. The 4x accuracy fast reload arty is working fine and yu see the larger units great without issues.

(If you don't know DarthMod Ultimate Commander Edition, it's the "state of the art" non plus ultra Empire Mod (historical accuracy, zillion re-skins, improved AI balance, lots of campaign and MP tweeks - 50 mods in one! Best include custom music in "Drum and Fife" menu, smoke and fire and blood, transparent HUD, etc, etc, etc... )

PS- self installer manages every aspect of the mod- keeps your vanilla EMPIRE data safe and sound... totally idiot proof! Just launch from the DMUC shortcut instead of the Empire one to play modded, or launch regularly to play the "factory fresh" version- TFE : )
