I spoke with Zerox, multiple times. You were offline for a 14 week period and had not messaged him what so ever. Sadly, I was looking forward for someone to actually put initiative into the servers and repair the damages and poor configuration as they could have been great to play on.

I'm not a server owner or admin nor do I host a server. I suggested to play on the new Rust City servers because they will provide Brandon a better Rust City experience.

@Thunderbird I critique every server based off their kits, website, logos, plugins, etc. It shows how much effort and administration team is willing to put towards their server(s). Per screenshot proof below, you had stated you ran "5 servers to be exact" and "Each server is 100 slots and costs a total of about $12 each per month". Make up your mind. The last 2 months of the servers being online, I had witnessed players buying VIP kits and Moderator kits that had actually killed the population.

VIP kits should not have explosives or PvP gear. Those that do are simply selling P2W kits for easy money. This very easily shows you are looking for an easy way to cash in some money without putting forth any effort into the servers. Real server owners do not sell game breaking kits but accept donations for special commands like /skin. Thus allowing players to show their support for the servers without breaking the game for players who do not donate or are unable to.

@Tetima This assumption is extremely misleading an just untrue. The servers were started in early 2015 and up until June of 2016 we accepted no donations. Eventually, people started asking if they could donate for perks. This was when I created a lacking website because most people told me that they didn't care what the website looked like. From 2015 to late 2017 all five servers had 98% up time. We didn't just leave at the end of the summer. In 2018, the last year the servers were up, life issues got in the way and the servers started lacking player counts, moderation, and funding. The servers were made for my pleasure and pleasure of others. We barely made any money off the servers. When the servers were at their prime, they together made about $200 a month give or take. The server's fees were as follows:

Five servers (x10k, x20, x10, x5k, x100k) with 100 player count each - $30 per month @ Blue Fang Solutions. $30 x 5 = $150 plus $10 per month for the website = $160 per month I paid to keep everything running. Some months made more than this and other months made less than this. Eventually funding went way down and we slowly had to start closing servers.

The final server left was the x20 which Zerox was going to takeover but when I was ready to transfer I tried messaging him and at the time his steam profile said he was offline for weeks and he never got back on for weeks to follow.

This obviously appears to be an attempt to advertise your own servers as you have done some deep research into this. However I wish you and your servers good luck.

@Brandon Coonman The servers were not shut down because of shrinking player count or someone taking the name "Rust City". They do this almost every year, during the summer they launch a server or 2, create pay to win VIP kits, cash in some money, and leave around September-November. Their website proves they lack developmental skills required to host and manage a Rust Modded server. Look at their website for example, the background was pulled from google search just type "Rust". Their logo was made from random people on Reddit because they were too lazy to learn to use a simple program as Photoshop.

This last time they attempted to transfer the 20x to Zerox, however they never did successfully transfer the server to him.

The new Rust City servers (5x, 10x, and 20x) appear to be a lot better without pay to win and many well configured paid plugins. I suggest looking into http://therustcity.com .

@Brandon Coonman They would have to be reapplied but just let one of us know when the servers are back and we will reapply them.

@thunderbird Alright, thank you for the update, and I will look forward to hopefully seeing the server alive again. (Also would I have my donor perks? I spent a bit on the server...)

@Brandon Coonman The servers went down a few months ago due to shrinking player count and someone copying the servers using the same name and content, thus taking all the players. I have strongly been considering bringing at least some of the servers back up within the next couple months as a test to see how they do. If they maintain a good player count they will stay up. I know it may sound like a while but expect the servers to make a test run sometime in May.

so can I look forward to seeing one of my favorite servers again? Or is this a lost cause, if so that would be a real shame this is where I've spent a majority of 200 hours just playing and making friends, it would really suck to see this go down.
Please let me know if there is people working on getting the servers back up.

Cheaters everywhere on the x10. If some of the mods could go on and observe and possibly ban it would be greatly appreciated. They are ruining the game for everyone.
