Just finished this game this week, after 1and 3 game. I love them stories so hard<3

This game was ok. Good storyline, but poorly executed. IMO the DLC The Exiled Prince should of been included with the game, and not separated. Bio ware was being greedy by charging us extra for this short lived dlc.

i wish just once during the DA2 story you would come across someone from the original cast .. except flemeth heh... but im not done with the game yet so who knows.

lol.. i just noticed after over an year that i havend redeemed my origins code for stone prisoner and blood dragon armor...... yay have been playing this game for so long and not even noticed.. ffs

i got bored of this game after the first 1½ runthrough, really disappointed. they spend so much time on graphics and combat system that they pushed everything else aside.. imo DA:O is way better than this much more fun and entertaining, won't even borther buying any dlc's a waste of money imo.. guess ill just have to wait for Skyrim and dragonage will be history.

i agree but this game would need more dlc to make up for the limited locations in kirkwall

Has anyone else noticed how this game won't play? I can't get past the first fight. Demo was fine. No patch yet. Totally frustrating.

@Karsten did you sleep with Isabela? It's a known bug that merely sleeping with her will cause Varric to say she stayed with you, regardless of other actually completed romances.

And i didnt get the epic achievement even tho that was my second playthrough.. dunno whats going on...

yeah ive had some problems with this new update aswel, even my ending "story" is not what happend when i played, he says like "isabela stayed with the champion" well i handed her over to the qunari and got romance with the elven girl ( don't remember the name lol)

Good Game did a pretty well summed up review on it... matched my opinion pretty closely.

I'm almost glad I didn't play Origins and don't have it to compare to, because this game is blowing my mind in every conceivable way right now. I've already lost 3 nights of sleep and been late to work twice.

Well hurry up and finish with it then go out and get DAO Ultimate Edition and you will understand why some consider this a letdown.

As a response to Belleal, Im hoping that they make a third, but tie in the Gray Warden Hero and the Champion, since they both just go 'missing'. Hopefully they have a bigger plan for the story instead of being lazy writers

i totally agree, not buying anything aswel.. awakening is short aswell, i want an expansion twice the size of origins =)

unless there is a long DLC like awakening , no way i'm buying a short DLC just like the exiled prince ... waste of money
what i really hate about Doa 2 is repetitive building , coast , cave
it's too boring , is bioware lack of creation or just lazy ?? i can't bare it
and this game is getting easier later , even on nightmare , the final i didn't need any potion to fight osario and merill , too easy ...

Well, I can agree that DAII has nothing much to do with Origins in terms of gameplay and even diversity in character backgrounds. But I love both games very much - I simply do think of them as two separate games, not two parts of a whole. After all we play BioWare games, because they always have cool story lines and great gameplay (diverse in diferent games as it is). So far I spent over 30 hours with DAII and every minute of it was great entertainment. I have also over 120 hours in Origins + Awakening, so I could compare them if I wanted to. But I don't. DAII as a standalone game is simply awesome.

Every Pc Rpg veteran should start DA II with Hard mode cause as this was made to fit for platform style it turned out to be too simple mode in norm. and specially in easy. No adult "Rpg veteran" should not start with easy setting. It brings somekind of joy when going with hard mode as the fights "which are very nicely made" don't be over in blink of an eye. Yes indeed vinhkobe DAO has epic storyline and living companions and u can fit them with diff.armor unlike in DA II,but it's the result of making for several platforms and now u can only adventure with one race and that's human.. :/ Well,i bought the game through Steam and always happy to support Bioware even quite disappointed to 2nd part.

Anyone else game freeze since the 1.01 patch? pre patch i could (and did) play for 10-11 hrs straight... in 3 hours play today i have had 3 lockups.... wtf?

took me about 30 hrs to beat it but i'm playing it again and since bioware will probably hear about this in some reviews they'll release a ♥♥♥♥ load of dlc and one expansion pack to accomodate this

there are many quests but the story line not good as the first , da:o has epic storyline , luv it

yeah i get that "freeze" bug some times aswel where i can't move until i cast something.. sucks...

@ondskapsmannen wtf.. ive completed the game with all quests available in 43 hours. how can it take u 77?? are u walking around instead of running? hehe

yeah it is awesome, wish they m ade origins with the same combat system and voice.. now that would be ass-raping!

TBH i was a bit disappointed on how long the game is it took me 24hours game time according to steam to complete the game not even close to what it took for origins. It took me a month for origins lol, but never the less this game is freaking assraping awesome. TBH when they gave the main charecter a voice it just made the game even more butt raping awesome.

Spent about 26 hours so far and I love it. As I see it, I will definetely play it at least once more with Mage (Rogue currently). It doesn't have much in common with Origins, so if you expect simmilar game - don't be. It is deffinetely worth playing nevertheless.

I've played for 77 hours and I'm still not through the DA 2. I love it. Gotta admit though, I'm being as meticulus as I can :p.......Also I just hope there is a fix to that slow bug soon so I can finish the game, because as it stands right now my main character is unplayable in combat :(

this game gets boring really quick imo, i won't even make the third playthrough.. its too short and too few options to make in-game. guess ill wait for the expansion and see if its worth it

same here except ( and most people may hate me for this) but i don't try to change the main character in an rpg unless they have no backstory and i actually used to play warrior but decided to go mage in my first run of DA2
