Greetings everyone.

We are 90% done with the changes on the servers. There are still some minor details that need to be worked out with the configuration, but the server is stable, ping is excellent, and you can already join us for some nice battles on the Eastern Front as well as the Pacific Theater, since we host both kind of maps on the server.

We also have a new tag on our discord - the "RO2" tag. Please sign up for it in the #bot-commands channel with "?autorole RO2" . We will tag this role when we hop on the server or when we organize events and so on.

The server will, as voted on by the community, feature NO LEVEL CAP, everyone is free to join. We also have a map pool of 40+ maps and we also tweaked our Mutator to remove a played map from the pool for a few rounds, so we avoid people spam voting the same map over and over again, which can occur. This is something we could not do with a campaign server, so expect more variety and flavorful custom maps.

The server is already doing great, got filled 1 hour after we finished with the changes and made it online, so big thank you to all of you who supported us during this entire change.

We will continue to provide the same experience, with our mutator, balancing the maps with the extension, no pesky -1 bug, and much more.

Comrades,

We (the Divided Group) have decided to make some necessary changes regarding the future of the Divided Group and our servers. In this post we will share those changes and explain the reasoning behind them.

Looking back we have had some great years in both Red Orchestra 2 and Rising Storm 1. We all loved fighting in the cold streets of Stalingrad and facing terrifying banzai charges in the Pacific. Most of all it was really awesome to play together and make friendships along the way.

Even though we've had a lot of fun there is no denying that the player base has been declining over the last 2 years. The game is getting older and most players have moved on. In our own group, we must admit that the spark is gone. We have seen every corner of every map, tried every tactic and we can't count the amount of empty shells laying on the ground.

With that in mind we will close down the majority of our RO2/RS1 servers. To offer our remaining veterans a place to still enjoy the game we will keep one server open. This server will feature Map Voting. We know most players prefer Campaign but this is done to lower the maintenance on the server. We will also introduce a level cap so only players from level 50 and higher can join. We hope this improves the gameplay, making it a veteran server where everyone knows how to play his role. We also hope this lowers the load on our admins and gives us the opportunity to explore other games.

Rising Storm 1 will close completely. RS1 is a great game and we all agree it offers an unique type of gameplay. The problem is that at this moment there are only a handful of veterans left, simply not enough to keep a server open.

-=Divided=- | EU #1 Stalingrad [Campaign] will change to RO2 mapvoting and will introduce a level cap. Only players from level 50 and higher can join.
-=Divided=- | EU #2 Stalingrad [Custom] will close
-=Divided=- | EU #3 Rising Storm will close
Of course, our RS2 Vietnam server will be unaffected.

The changes will come into effect next Monday (12/08/2019) at some point during the day. So if you want to have a final go on the current layout, make sure to do it before Monday.

What's next?
We expanded into RS2 Vietnam last April. We are also keeping a close eye on the RS2 'Winter War' mod and 'Hell Let Loose'. There is also a game named '83 on the horizon.

Hello! I'm having a persistent issue with the [EU] RO2 Community Server. I can connect to the server, but I get stuck on the map screen and the team selection menu never appears. After a few minutes, it says "Connection to host lost". I've already tried re-installing the game, updating PunkBuster, and clearing my cache, but it didn't help.
Could you please check if my profile is "ghosted" on the server and kick it?

7 years ı spend in that server , many memories , many friends , many games ı had. ı remember when ı am bought that game at 2013 ı said -no i cant play this game , its really hard :) but ı tried and i did. this game is the best part of my game life..
