direct.Damage would like to welcome two new members, these are the two players who complete the five man lineup.

Keegan "lonest4r" Kruger - old school player, played for teams such as pm, calamity, dlib and pm, eminent. Keegan achieved 1st and 2nd place finishes with pm at various cpt lans, 4th place at rage 2004 and 4th with eminent at BOTCv1
Aidan "fusE" Caz has just recently joined dD to bolster their line-up. He is well known for playing in the eminent team last year that beat pantheon to claim 1st at mpld (early 2008) and then 3rd at battlen lan a couple months later.

The remainder of the lineup consists of:

Shane "EnT@nGleD" Woolley - started his clan gaming career with sAiNTs. He then left sAiNTS to form the original direct.Damage in early 2008 and then returned to sAiNTs after the team broke up. He attended rage 2008 with sAiNTS however did not place in the top 5 teams. At the end of 2008 he joined miNt.gaming and subsequently left to reform the new direct.Damage.
Ricky "Iron" Kacev - only started playing Counter-Strike: Source in December 2007. His first big break came when he formed the team known as provoke in July 2008. Provoke showed great skill and placed 6th at rAge 2008. He then left Provoke in December 2008 to join T71. He subsequently left T71 to form the new direct.Damage with EnT@nGleD.
Timothy "Kr1mZon" Woolley - his gaming careers looks pretty much the same as EnT@nGleD's except he moved over to COD4 halfway through 2008 forming a team called rOugue who placed well at rAge 2008 only to be unluckly knocked out. Kr1mZoN also continues to actively play for the miNt.gaming COD4 team.

The team will officially go live on Saterday, 13 June 2009, when Timothy "Kr1mZoN" Woolley returns from lectures in Johannesburg.

Direct Damage is back!

YES! You read that correctly!

Direct Damage has returned from the depths of nothingness sporting a new and improved lineup, nearly ready to take action!

On Sunday (31/05/2009) it was decided that a new Counter-Strike: Source team be formed by the then miNt * EnT@nGleD and T71 – Iron, after both decided it was time to move on from their respective teams. It was further decided that the name Direct Damage would be used reviving the old clan and breathing it new life. Kr1mZon a member of the original Direct Damage team will be filling the third spot forming a potentially lethal combination.

The team still requires two players and is on the look out to fill the currently available fourth and fifth spots. If you are interested make yourself known on #directd in irc or contact Iron or EnT@nGleD on steam. All applications will be considered and applicants will be contacted individually. There have already been a number of requests to join the team and it appears the spots won't be open long.

The appointed players will then be announced here as a new announcement and this will be the moment the clan officially goes live. However, EnT@nGleD and Iron will continue to play for miNt and T71 respectively until the end of the second leg of the AGASA Premiere and First Division leagues. This will be the completion of their commitments to those teams. It’s nearly always sad when a player leaves a team, however, this will be good for the Counter-Strike: Source community, in brining a new team into the ailing leagues and increasing competition.
