After a few days of wrangling with the hosting company I was able to get our server back up and running! use the following Link to get to our new old server:

I logged in and everything seems just as it was so you should all still have everything you've worked so hard for.

I know some of you have moved to other servers in the last couple days since ours has been down, I do hope you all decide to return. I've very sorry it took so long but with luck this should not happen again, thank you all for your patience!

Hey all,

For those of you who may not be aware I took over admin duties for Icy, our original admin, a few months ago. She still had several months worth of subscription payed for at the time, and transfering billing control to me would not have rolled over the remaining time. As such her and I decided to wait until the sub ran out to transfer it to me.

Unfortunately the server is currently offline, It seems the subscription ran out a week earlier than I was told it would. I immediately put in a ticket with the hosting company and have a message in with Icy about it so we can get this taken care of as quickly as possible. The server WILL BE BACK UP SOON (caps for emphasis) don't worry, all our hard work is safe and sound. How soon this gets resolved depends primarily on the hosting companies response time and if Icy gets in touch with me or not (I can still transfer it if she doesn't, but it may take a bit longer).

I'm really sorry about this guys, I know it's a massive inconvienience. I was expecting another week before this cropped up so I'm scrambling to get it resolved as fast as possible.

Thank you all for your patience, if you know anyone on our server that isn't sub'd to this group please point them here and let them know whats going on!

Icy still has not gotten in touch with me, which unfortunately is what I expected. However I am working it out with the server company and think I have a solution, I'm really sorry for how long this is taking guys. With lucky it will be back up shortly. WIll keep you informed.

Sorry for the bit of downtime tonight, was completely my bad. I set the server to update while in a rush getting ready for work and like putz didn't refresh my browser before hitting the boot up button (the servers control panel times out after so long). Completely on me, sorry guys!

Hello All,

The last few big patches now I've gotten a few comments here and there about when the server will be updated. I appreciate people leaving me messages saying an "update is out" but I can assure you I'm very likely well aware. I'm active on the Ark forums and check it each morning.

That said, as all of you may know, the devs for Ark are notoriously bad at hitting thier ETA's - sometimes missing them by days. This makes it rather difficult to always ensure a prompt update. I am the only active server admin and sadly I do occasionally need to sleep and even have to work some times . A few patches ago the developers set their ETA to 10pm at night and continued to push it back one to two hours every time it lapsed, I stayed awake until 530 AM hoping to get the server updated for you all and ended up running a 16 hour day with 30 minutes of sleep. After that I decided for my own health I simply cannot do that anymore. It's difficult enough dealing with teenagers on a full eight hours XD

I took over from Icy as I really do enjoy this game and I love the server we have all created together. I try my best to keep it as up-to-date and running smooth as possible for everyone and will continue to do so. I checked the forum last night before turning in and the ETA had been moved to 12pm on thursday, unfortunately they decided to drop it in the middle of the night instead. I ask everyone try to remain patient in such situations, it's just the nature of playing a constantly updated EA title unfortunately. I will always have the game updated as quickly as I can.

Our little server has steadily grown the last month which is great! I felt now would be a good time to add some general building guidelines to our rules. These are aimed at ensuring our server remains a friendly and accessible place as more and more newbies join us ^_^
