Had you bothered to check, Jay rented a zps server and know one came on. I rented a tf2 server and no one came on. It's downright childish to blame everyone else when you don't get what you want. Why not do your homework first before spending any money? Goat originally shut the zps server down because no one was playing on it. Why would things be any different over a year later? We are a group that is constantly evolving, and to have people like you sit back and complain at every opportunity because you don't like change, it's almost insulting.

idk what happened but a long time ago i used to play on this server daily, but then my steam account was compromised and i could no longer play zps.. i came back to my favorite server being abandoned. what happened with goat?

read my last post. if u want to find me playing i will be playing on mbm server 1 in tf2 or on cobras family minecraft server. Avo does what avo wants fact of life, u cant really tell him he needs to be on and playing. as for the new server once again read my last post.I might join it eventually. Its as plain as the nose on ur face.

What I had in mind is that if anyone in the group had a server, feel free to post the info and the group members could flock there as they please. I don't want to take over anyone's server but if they want to use our name, then I would have to step in and set a few of our old rules. If you just want to advertise a personal server, I say go for it, we don't have anything to lose :P

I'm perfectly fine with linking to servers on here providing that we don't have an official one running. I would consider a full on partnership (using the DF name and maps etc...) if the server follows the same set of rules.
The rules were:
- No hacking
- No excessive spam (tasteful amounts make epic lulz)
- somewhere listed on the server, it must mention that opsmiller dated a striper.

If one of us supposedly rented out a ZPS server, is that person allowed to link the server towards this group by any chance? Or is partnership not allowed?

I was playing around with a NMRiH server the other day but the Linux binaries are as stable as a ninety year old grandmother on a three legged chair. What I'm saying is, once they fix that little problem, it should be up ASAP.

This group still has purpose but has just hit a rough patch. Trust me, it wont stay way for long. I have already been offered a Zombie panic and Ventrilo server and I am thinking of opening a No More Room in Hell server once the game is patched. I'll keep you guys posted because lots of stuff is gonna change around here :D

It has a purpose and always has had one. You just don't see it.

Rather than posting an annoucement thats all flashy ive decided to post in the comment section. We all had great times on zps, more than any other game. Sadly there are no good zombie games like zps anymore and zps is just outdated now. Hopefully Avo will make a great zombie game that has similar characteristics and gameplay and DF can carry on with that. As for me, this is where my journey in DF comes to an end. I don't see anything I can do for the community anymore nor do I have time to manage a community. I leave you in good hands. Game on! -Goat
