Tips and tricks ( Everyone should read threw this at least once)

Counter eco rounds- Watch teams such as Fnatic, EnvyUs etc. take our time, use molotovs to clear angles, play close to each other so that the risk of losing guns is low. CHECK CORNERS!!!

Defaults- know our defaults for every map know what you do at what times, what grenades you will need to use and who you will be with.

Cross fires- For examples watch any pro team. Communicate with your team and the people around you, set up cross fires so if someone walks in-between they should be dead before they can even get shots off.

Timings- watch players such as pasha or get right. Play all the maps in the pool, get a few for how you like to play on each map, try and get a feel for when to peek, when to throw your grenades, where to place your cross hair, this also includes double peaking if 2 or more people peek one person they should only be able to get a maximum of 1 kill if that.

Getting picks on T-watch any pro team. If we get an early pick on t side don't rush in to the site as they could have stacked it and then we can lose our advantage, instead fall back regroup and use some time up, the cts will have to spread out more making the sites a lot weaker.

Individual play- don't always stick to the default on either side, the default are not telling you how to play exactly, they are just tasks for you to complete, if you feel like you want to do something such as push through a smoke or something communicate it. no team plays the same every game you have to play your style.

Map control (T side)- For good examples of this watch NaVi, they slowly take control of the map getting a lot of info and at the same time making the opposite side have less info, this baits out utility and makes it a lot easier to take sites as they can’t smoke you off.

Grenade usage- watch any pro team. Use your grenades, they can be the difference between the round. smoke off choke points so that any rush will be deterred ( remember a smoke is not a wall) use flashes for each other so someone can peek and take control of areas, use your molotov’s to check corners and again deter any rushes.

Retakes- watch any pro team. Communication is key is a retake, knowing when to peek where to check, before a retake always take into account: how many people are left? is it a 1 v 5, How many grenades do you have? can you flash in and clear angles, Does anyone have a kit ? can you get to the bomb and defuse in time if not you will have to be faster on the retake, whats the teams economy like? is it worth you saving your gun as someone might need a drop.

Trades- For a good example watch fnatic they rely on this. Play with your team mates if they go down dont just run away or hold the angle go for the kill unless your team mate has said there is more then one, the majority of the time you will catch the enemy off guard and possibly even reloading ( it is important to remember not to just rush them as soon as they get the kill as they could still be spraying from the prior kill)

Economy tracking- this is something a lot of people struggle with and although i will be the one doing most of it i still need info, very and remember what guns the enemy team had, did they force ? eco ? did they get any kills? with what guns ? did they save any guns ?. this is important as if you know what they can buy you can work out strats to give you the advantage such as if they are on a force they will be playing close quarters as they will only have pistols the majority of the time or are they going to be able to afford grenades if not bate out there utility first so they can’t do anything to prevent you from taking sites.

Lurk timings- for good examples watch pasha and get right. playing lurk isn’t just go to the opposite site and hold, the idea of a lurk is to get behind the cts and then help take the site from somewhere they wouldn’t expect, a lurk is also required to get info such as how many grenades where thrown.

using timeouts- a good example of this is fnatic back in 2015 after every timeout they called they won the round. if the enemy team is getting a lot of momentum it is normal good to call a time out to put a break to it, try work out the areas that we have been lacking in or that they have been using to there advantages such as have they been winning the peak in mid every time if so smoke it off to take control of it, are they just rushing onto a site then molly it, are they playing aggressive then play passive and take them out when they try to push you.

bomb plant positions- Good examples are any pro team, know where you planned the bomb, where can it be covered from such as on dust 2 a site if you plant for short then no one can get to the bomb unless short is clear as they are unable to see you, communicate where you plant the bomb so your team knows where to watch or cover plus if someone tries to ninja you can just spray them down as long as you know where the bomb is.

falling back on ct- watch someone like guardian or fallen ( this is not specific to awpers however) if you miss a shot and you have 5 enemy rushing you fall back to somewhere else so they dont know where you are if its later in a round and they are pushing or flashing fall back to the site, if you get a kill and no one else pushes fall back to a different position.

using time- Use the time to your advantage on either side yet again NaVi are amazing at this. Use time to take map control and bate utility from the other team if you re on t side, get the info and punish them if they get greedy and try and push, on CT waste time by using smokes, molotovs etc.

punish mistakes- watch any pro team for this, if a enemy pushes threw smoke or plays to aggressive then punish them dont let them get the kills and feel confident, use cover to your advantage and get the advantage for our team.

Pistol rounds- Watch a team like Fnatic or EnvyUs. The 2 pistol rounds are the most important rounds in the game, remember if you are Ct use the range to your advantage where as if you are t use numbers, ammo to your advantage and try to get close enough to make your guns one shot head shot as well.

Over committing- This is a massive error to make if you over commit to a position and get stuck there with no escape you are as good as dead, stay close to team mates and always make sure if they try and rush you that you can make it back to cover before they can get to you.

Peeking- watch any pro player. There are 3 types of peeks that you can do: 1 Shoulder peek, this is good to deal with awpers or if you are t side to use when trying to take map control as you are able to draw out shots to know exactly where the enemy is, 2 Aggressive peeking this is useful if you know exactly where the enemy is and are confident in taking them out ( be carful with this as you can sometimes over commit and get caught out of cover) and 3 crouch peeking, this again is amazing against awpers and riflers as they both aim for the upper half of the body so you are normally able to get the first shots of ( this can cause problems as you are basically stuck due to the amount of time it takes to walk back to cover)

Making jumps and hitting grenades- the only way to get better at these is to practise and just keep practising make sure you feel 100% confident in hitting jumps and grenades fast as one slip in a game can cost the entire game.

Reaction play- again NaVi are great at this. This is where say a smoke is down in tunns on dust 2 you shoot threw it or use some nades on it to get info or to try get someone to shoot back, this can tell you what weapons they have, how many are on the site and even waste some of the utility.

bait play- Most pro teams are good with this. Bait play is good to draw attention away from someone who might be playing in a different corner to take enemies by surprise such as someone playing in quad on inferno ct, someone else should play short and then fall back if needed so that the T sides attention is on the other player.

Counter flashes- Watch teams such as NIP. Counter flashes can give a massive advantage to anyone holding a site as a well timed counter flash can stop or prolong a rush or site take but can sometimes even lead to multiple kills.

Re peaks- This is something which is often done, re peeking can often lose rounds as if you already peeked once the odds are someone watching it, if you wish to peek again get someone to flash you or even flash yourself.

Sorry for any bad punctuation or incorrect spellings.
