Hello, everyone.

Lately I've noticed a disturbing trend. Whenever a guild party has a game that starts going the slightest bit wrong, several people immediately get up in arms and point fingers at anything and everything.

This often takes the appearance of complaining about a problem while making no effort to resolve it themself, rather relying on teammates to and complaining more when they don't do it to their satisfaction.

Naturally, this isn't fun, and we're all about having fun. After talking it over with a few members of the leadership here we have decided to make a concerted effort to improve the general level of niceness in games.

A few easy examples of being nice while still helping your teammates do what they need to:

Need wards? Ask (nicely!) and ping where you want them. If they don't come soon, check to make sure they're actually in stock, and gently remind the supports. If they still don't come, evaluate how much you really need them. If you absolutely need them, buy them youself. It's not ideal, but beats not having wards.
Teammate is out of position repeatedly? Gently make them aware of this problem and if you notice them out of position ping them with the X and >Get back! If they're trying to ward a dangerous spot where you desparately need wards, go with them. This drastically improves the chances of you both escaping if you meet them, especially if you're the carry.
Teammate isn't using a key ability at opportune times? Again, gently make them aware of when they should've used it. Notice if the ability was on cooldown. If it was, try to help them save it for when it's needed. If it's a crucial ability that you can't win the fight until it's in action, don't go in until the ability is cast If you risk running in and not being followed up properly, that's just as much your fault for running in without making sure your team was ready to follow as it was the people behind you for not following up.
At all times, make sure your team knows what you expect of them before you expect it. Being flamed without having a clue why or because you weren't given enough time to act or because Global Silence is on CD isn't fun for anyone.

If you notice people misbehaving, report them to a moderator though be advised little or no action will be taken without some form of proof, or multiple occurences. This means if someone from the guild flames you, take screenshots; or if you record all your games and put them on the internet, link us the video.

Hopefully we can have an environment where it's fun for all, even while we lose, because it's gonna happen, and the moment you stop having fun is when it becomes a waste of time. Not when you first think you're going to lose.
