I have used MIRC in the past. I need to get used to it again but it is not very hard to understand. And you can make it automaticly turned on and auto login the channel when your computer starts up.
Good to find players and perhaps other teams to fight against.

Anyway I think it is good to search or have some ideas if any other tools can help us improving the community for this group. But my main question is: What do people want and what do they think is usefull, easy to use, and will they use it?

Personaly i think the steam group or DotA2 functions are not enough or not in the right way.

The Dicussion forum we have now will also be chaotic for the long run. I think it's not ment for alot of discussions for a group.. An extern forum might be better for this. But i dont know what people wan't and if they are willing to use it.
I can provide an extern forum if people think thats better. I have alot of experiance in setting them up.

For an easy to use chat, Dota2 channels was suggested before. I think 1 downside is that i dont even know how to put it at defauld. and everytime waiting to check for 1 channel in a massive list is rather anoying.
We need something that, Is easy to use, Is not anoying in sounds or anoying screens that pop up. But also something that will not be forgotten to use or to check.

If we decide to use these extern tools to archief something different I think it should make it 1 of the recruirements to join the group that you will use it.

But i am not sure what is best. the best thing is what people want and willing to do.
I like to hear some responses from the group.

We need to make that FORUM and WEBCHAT into it redirected @QNet and we should create our own Channel!More people will come and we can grown as group and there can be more leaders for games.
