Could someone explain to me how coop is supposed to work with a consistent partner? I've trying to play with a friend but it is a huge pain to find his sign! Is there some other way or is this the only way?

good glad to hear you fixed the accunt.. dunno about all the bugs tho is this with the high rez mod? i havent got a single bug yet and been playing it for 8 hours now alto that being said all comps are different and the mod is only a day old =P

Pack a fatty, I do have a games for windows live account and it does work now, it was just my first charecter that was deleted. That being said, I have encountered a TON of visual bugs: Random lines in the sky that shouldnt be there, at the first dragon my screen got bugged up when breathed fire on. All these have been solved by quiting the game fully. I also just now put on the winged spear and my screen got glitched up, so I am hopping that me quiting will work again. Will try the mod fix later, hope it will work for me too.

Yes, very easilly to.
IF you use a shield, you can not be holding it up for a backstab to work. (this took alogn time to figure out on original release..) Also, you can only use a regular attack. Not a power Attack. (Keyboard/mouse = left click. Controller = R1, or whatever the xbox controller equiovlent is.)

That said, Aker, how did you get the ps3 controller to work?

I managed to play the game, now gfwl is not a problem. Nice game and runs smooth 30fps just hope resolution wasn't sub HD :S

people are very silly... rabidkittin there is 2 accounts steam and windows live and it takes like 5 min to make a account if you dont have 5min spare then thats your problem also use a controller or keyboard its your choice so get over it.. graphics are great if you do your research and get the mod for it and then you can play it on what ever resolution you want here is link if anyone wants http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/?p=92 ...

turok and blade runner you have to make a account with windows live it should pop up when you satrt the game and if it doesnt then something is wrong with windows live or steam if that happends just message steam about it..

Amazing! With the resolution fix (I'm playing at 1080p+) already patched and the PS3 controller's working perfectly....This is the best version of Dark Soul's ever created.

Games for windows live is a travesty. I have managed to get it all working. You need to make sure you make a gamer tag and pick a name for it. There are like 3 account name selection processes. Whoever designed that turd should be flogged. Port is so so, Gamepad keys are hard bound to an Xbox controller, so I have to play guessing game when binding my logitech pad outside the game. Which is fail. The keyboard bindings are pretty robust from what I can tell. Graphics could be better, on bar with the ps3 version, but run a tad faster.

Hey guys, I played for about an hour, quit and when I logged back in, the save was deleted. When i started a new game to see if the problem presisted, I could continue my game. Anyone else have these problems?

Restart yoru steam.
Go to steam, click exit.
Go to your task bar, end your steam task, whichever way. Hell restart your PC!
When you reload steam, you can downoad it.
