Anyone here interested in a great and extremely unique 3 vs 3 map?
The idea is basicly what DW2 is all about - all out mindblowing war.
It's quite simple - 3 players defend a strong and complex overgrown keep, and 3 players command the endless hordes that assail the keep. A control-point keeps the time for this game at a reasonable time, I believe a maximum of 45 minutes.
The defenders have the keeps base guns, constant cover and walls, a huge amount of tactical positions and a few bottle-necks to obliterate the enemy in great numbers. The defenders have limited resources (always choose the "high resources", as the game is designed for this).
As defenders, spread your forces, supress the enemy, and hold the front gate and bottle-necks for as long as possible.
As attackers, bring explosives or some heavy vehicle to smash the gates, and bring down the base guns. Bring teleporting units or jumping units for maximum mobility.
Keep your eyes open - and your senses alert. The map changes considerably during the wargame, depending on your settings. Keep an eye out for the hidden tower, and other usable things.
Walkers can gain access to some of the platforms, and can climb most stairs.
Use the many entrance points beyond the gate when attacking, but remember, it works both ways!
Cheers,
Ross.

Also, just started a new group "Dawn Of War 2 Learners". Not sure if anyone would be interested in joining - it's mainly for new players like myself but everyone is welcome.
