if i figth with a dragon, how to get him to make my items better ? killed 2 times a halfdragon and one normal dragon .. and in just one of this figths my weapons got dragonforged

ooh if i play with this follower isnt it too much easy ? i dont know if i make something wrong but im lvl 41 and already bored cause the enemies too easy .. was try to find stronger enemies but there no stronger enemies ( at my quest stage ) i explored all map as far i can . i play in normal mode its my first round in this game .. is hardmode a big difference ? why are the enemies so weak
