Once again, Bloodborne is taking up my gaming time... Not that it's a bad thing! xD I'm trying to get a scythe weapon on there (Burial Blade) and I'm in no rush to finish it. I enjoy this world will have to try more PvP. Even though I'll probably play a NG+ after finishing it, I haven't forgotten Doom and I'll still do more to my map. When I get more creative ideas, I'll start on the next area. I still need to figure out how to trigger doors on enemy deaths and other more powerful enemies to spawn. Each area needs to be a fight to get to the teleporter. I can always put in some mapping time, if I don't get distracted with YT videos on all my favourite games. xD I'm trying to get back in to my Photoshop art, too. On another thing I need to do... That's to finish Resurrection of Evil. I haven't played it or been on here much since I got PS4. Don't judge me! xD

I've finally mastered switches! xD I'm currently redoing the Linedefs on my map and setting each boundaries to Impassable. Also, I'm trying to make an obelisk shaped stone. Umpegging textures seems to make things much better looking.

When the Baron is near by or if you're the Baron, the PS4 controller rumbles with the foot steps. The Mancubus is like a tank. Can the Mancubus jump or is it more limited than the Barons with movement?

I like using big old fat Mancubus xD. You can hear him from a mile away when he walks xD It gives all the players your location pretty much. Prowler is okay hes really fast and can climb walls and stuff. But yeah Baron and Revenant are the best.

The Prowler looks cool. The Mancubus is like a tank from what I've seen. The Baron is still formidable, but I got to find an easy way of killing an enemy Baron, when I get a full year PS+ membership and rejoin the MP. Some people can kill me fast when I'm a Baron. I guess they know the weaknesses. With enemy Revanants, is the jetpack their weak spot?

I like the Baron design in this and as much as I loved Doom 3, I'm glad the Baron looks like a typical demon and not an alien. I don't mind the Hell Knights keeping their D3 alien looks, though. It gives them their own look and not like they are a re-skin. Besides, the Baron was encountered first in original Doom and the Knight was the same sprite with a different colour and less HP.

Yes in snapmap you can place Demon Runes wherever you want and fight demons as a demon. Its pretty cool I believe you can just change the setting on the placement to whatever Demon you want.

Yeah the Revenant reflects my side the most. Just the sound it makes alone is how I feel xD He is fast and ready to destroy whoever is in the way I love it when a player thinks they can follow me and shoot me. I trick them so good and it ends up with me following them hahah. But Baron is my 2nd favorite he seems really pissed off. I don't like being the others very much though.

I like the Baron, just because of the pure aggression and it reflects on my temper. xD I always got killed by a Revenant missile, so I know that demon would be good, too. Can you create a snapmap where you can use a Demon Rune and test it out? I saw a video on Baron game play at the time. If so, I can practice each demon's attack. Anyway, I might try and work on my Doom 64 map again, because I got a cold and just want to sit out here where there's a heater. I'll give the PS4 a bit of a break because I've been playing it since my birthday. When I try the Revenant, I'll have to practice flight. Thst one will be fun to play, if I can get the rune first! xD

I love becoming the BARON OF HELL in the new multiplayer! I'm going to have to get a PS Plus membership because my free trial expires soon. I probably won't be home in time to get one last play, tonight... Oh well. I did make it to level 40, last night. Level ups are much quicker than what I'm use to in GoW, although it's the same with needing more XP when you get higher and higher. Luckily, Doom is quicker and getting a shameful 0 Kills match result is rare, unless you're a super noob who's never touched an FPS game in their life. xD The only thing that pisses me off is the server dropping out, but at least there's always players and no waiting half an hour for a match to start.

Maybe it should be called Snapmap Level? Haha

I wish Snapmap had more enviroments, though. I might have to watch the tutorial videos again, when I decide to start. I made it to Hell, the other night. I swear, I get killed a bit, even on easy because I spend time selecting what weapons I want and always trying to keep a shotgun just one R1 tap away. xD The Argent Tower looked cool.

I'm going to try to upload a full play-through of a Snapmap, at some point. That's if YouTube and PS4 allow me to do it, unless there's a time limit on videos... I want to upload some actual game play of something, sans the Bandicam ♥♥♥♥, too. I need to get back to Doom 64 mapping, but I’m having fun with PS4. Grand Theft Auto 5 and Bloodborne have been consuming my time and that’s not a bad thing! :P

Yeah every Turok game should be made available on Steam that would be pretty cool. They vary so much yet are near the same and your right Rage Wars would kick ass on PC with MP. Especially because it was only N64 never on PC.

Shouldn't be to difficult since it wouldn't need extreme graphics or anything. And if so and the graphics are improved they can rebuild it from The ground up on unity like the new system shock.

Or a rage wars scaled to pc speed. Bigger badder faster. Was well balanced and more. Make it bigger and faster and you got yourself a pc version of rage wars. Kinds like how turok 2 n64 multiplayer is slower compared to the pc multiplayer. Same goes for forsaken when comparing both pc and n64. Pc rage wars arena fps sounds orgasmic and my love for playing quake live wil dwindle and my lust for turok will rise.

@boogyboy both great games and hopefully with Turok 2 coming there could be a Turok 3 remaster next :)

@Jay Doomed Pain Elementals are easy with the BFG because I tried that and there was more than 30. xD Finally got the new DOOM and a PS4. I much rather a big game like that on a console. That's why I didn't get it on here, even though I could've. My only grievance is having R2 as the fire button and not R1, but I can live with it. I'll still be mapping my first Doom 64, but I'm going to have to play my other games that came with it, too. I'll try Bloodborne, next. Also got a new PS3 controller, so I can still play those and also join back with my friends who still play God of War. Despite the lag on that and constantly sucking since I started a year ago, I still miss it. xD

Doom 64 was one of the scariest N64 experiences for me besides Turok 3,
Truly was a masterpiece, and it was awesome to relive all of it with Doom64 EX.

Welcome there are a few ways to play Doom 64 from N64 on PC now. One is Doom 64 EX (which there is a setup in the discussions for) and another is Doom 64 Absolution. There is also a Brutal Doom 64 on the way now from Sergeant_Mark_IV.

Is Doom64 a standalone Total Conversion for Doom? I know that there was an N64 cartridge called Doom 64, but that version of Doom was never officially ported to the PC (or any console besides the N64).

Half the time I can't screencap the level I'm working on (when test playing) because it caps the map. xD F5 worked last night when capping those Cacodemons and doing a quick Photoshop job. The caps go in the folder to the game, which I didn't know until I had 40 of them. xD
