SEASON 10 FORMAT & SCHEDULE
Participating teams will compete in CEVO’s signature eight week regular season format in an attempt to qualify for the online playoffs, and the chance to climb the ladder of ranked skill divisions.

- s10 Team Registration + Preseason (Friday, April 29th, 2016 - Thursday, June 2nd, 2016)
- s10 Online Regular Season (Friday, June 3rd, 2016 – Sunday, July 31st, 2016)
- s10 Online Playoffs (Thursday, August 4th, 2016 - Thursday, September 8th, 2016)

SKILL DIVISIONS & PRIZES

Main Division (NA/EU Restricted skill divisions) - $20.00 (Early Bird) / $25.00 per player - $10,000.00 prize pool (per region)

CEVO-M is our premium pay-to-play restricted skill division consisting of 48 very highly skilled and experienced teams looking for serious, near-professional competition. Teams can qualify to play in this division through their performance in the previous season, and sometimes through our off-season tournaments. CEVO-M teams will play two matches per week on Sundays & Wednesdays in both North America and Europe across one conference (per region) and compete for cash prizes.

Intermediate Division (NA/EU Open entry skill divisions) - $12.50 (Early Bird) / $15.00 per player - $5,000.00 prize pool (per region)

CEVO-IM is our intermediary premium pay-to-play skill division open to ALL teams in both Europe and North America. It's designed for experienced teams seeking serious competitive play. CEVO-IM teams will play two matches per week on Mondays & Thursdays in both North America and Europe across one conference (per region) for cash prizes and the chance to move up to the CEVO-M skill division based on their performance in Season 10.

Amateur Division (NA/EU Open entry skill division) - $7.50 (Early Bird) / $10.00 per player - $1,500.00 prize pool (per region)

CEVO-A is our entry level premium pay-to-play skill division open to ALL teams in both North America and Europe. It's designed for both new and experienced teams seeking casual competitive play. Teams in this division will play only one match per week on Wednesday evenings in three conferences across North America (East, Central, and West) and compete for cash prizes and the chance to move up to the CEVO-IM/M skill divisions based on their performance in Season 9.

BEST-OF-ONE VETO PROCESS
Each of our premium skill divisions (A, IM, and M) will play all regular season games as a best-of-one (bo1) map series using the current Valve Active Duty map pool of de_dust2, de_nuke, de_train, de_mirage, de_cobblestone, de_cache, and de_overpass.

Maps will be decided inside of the CEVO CS:GO client prior to each match with our map veto system outlined below.

CEVO.com is excited to announce that we have opened registration for Season 4, featuring 6 North American competitive PC events with over $13,750 in cash prizes up for grabs. Participating teams will compete in our signature 8 week long season event in an attempt to qualify for our double-elimination playoff tournaments and the chance to climb the ladder of ranked skill divisions.

In our last 3 seasons, we've been able to consecutively grow the number of participating teams and increase our prize pools, while remaining completely free to play. We've been so blown away by our community's support over the last year that we've decided to raise our Season 4 prize pool to $13,750 from $5,100 in Season 3, that's a 170% increase for anyone keeping track!

In addition to the increases in the cash prize pools committed by CEVO, we're going to be releasing news later this week about a community crowd funding program that we've developed that will enable players and fans of each game to help spread the word about CEVO and directly affect the specific prize pools of the games that they love. All proceeds from the community crowdfunding project will go directly towards the s4 prize pools (less PayPal transaction fees), CEVO will not keep a cent. We're also going to be experimenting in Season 4 with a pay-to-play system in TF2 (both skill divisions) and CS:GO (Professional division ONLY).

These top 5 maps will be showcased for public voting on www.cevo.com for the following 2 weeks until Tuesday, April 30th, 2013. The top three maps with the most votes will split the $850 in cash, with the winning team taking home $500 cash + use of map in CEVO CS:GO Season 2 pre-season, $250 cash to the second-place finisher, and $100 cash to the third finalist.

Map submissions should be original works and cannot have been used in any previous competitions. Maps should be created with competitive balance, CEVO league settings ($800 startmoney, 2:00 roundtime, and 5v5 gameplay), and aesthetics in mind.

Introducing the CEVO Competitive Arena for Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike Source

CEVO is pleased to announce the opening of the first ever, CEVO Competitive Arena The CEVO Competitive Arena is a fun concept that brings together competitive teams to a relaxed atmosphere in order to practice strategies, build team work, and advance their team to the next level of competitive gaming.

What is the Competitive Arena?
The CEVO Competitive Arena brings structure to the typical scrim or pug system in that teams are given a one match a week schedule on a pre-determined map. For this match, teams will use the CEVO Match Scheduling Comm to communicate the best day and time to play the match and which server to play on. Teams will then be required to login and utilize the CEVO CMN3 anti-cheat client to ensure a cheat-free practice environment.

How does the Competitive Arena work?
All teams have to do is sign up their team, get at least five members on their roster with SteamIDs entered and your team will automatically be thrown into the scheduling cycle.

Once scheduled a match, team captains or a-captains will need to work through the match comm with their opponent to find the best time and place to play the match.

How much is the entry fee and what can I win?
It is FREE to compete in the CEVO Competitive Arena!! Yes, we said FREE. No one time entry fees, no monthly fees, nothing!

The development team is working diligently on comprising a list of hardware prizes to give out to teams that remain king of the hill after an undetermined time period. For example, we might reward the number one ranked team after four months worth of solid matches played. More details to follow.

What games are available in the Arena Currently?
The CEVO Competitive Arena has opened its doors to both Counter-Strike 1.6 North America and Counter-Strike Source North America. As development for the Arena progresses and we see other community interest, we will work to expand the Arena to other game titles upon request.

What else can you tell me?
-One match a week.
-Match deadlines on Wednesday each week.
-Teams may dispute a match within 24 hours after the close of the match.
-Teams who choose not to follow the rules will be suspended from the arena for one month intervals depending on the infraction.
-Map rotations are determined one month at a time.
-Registration never closes for this event.
-First matches will commence as soon as at least twelve teams are signed up with five (5) man rosters.
