DotaCR updated - Dedicated server support

DotaCR has been updated, and now supports dedicated servers, so you can create a lobby and play without needing to set up a server or portforward!

If you already have DotaCR, it will prompt you to update.

If you don't ready have DotaCR, download it here: http://dota2cr.com/client.zip

Note that your Antivirus may tell you one of the dll files is suspicious - You can safely ignore this, if you don't believe me then upload it to VirusTotal.

For those interested in hosting dedicated servers, the dedicated server manager is here: http://dota2cr.com/server.zip
Please note dedicated servers do require port forwarding and so on, so make sure to test by running a non-dedicated server first!

Hi all,

You may remember DotaCR as a client that modded Dota 2 to host OMG and LOD games way back before D2ware was a thing.

Well, its back from the dead (and less buggy!), plus it now integrates another mod called Frota that adds tons of cool gamemodes. You should really give it a go!

Please be aware that you need good internet to host full 5v5s.

Known issues: Teams in lobby don't match teams ingame, Frota download can take a while and progress bar is misleading.

In the future DotaCR will support more mods, this is just an initial re-release to fill the gap left by D2ware.
