For a while now, the office trader in Mid traders on all esseker servers has been inaccesible due to the building not having a functioning door.

The trader has been moved outside temporarially while we work on a more permament solution.

Over the past 3 days we have held a number of events on multiple servers.

These events had a number of goals, one of which was to encourage more people to join this group. Although we still have a long way to go, we have increased this group member ship by almost 50 people in 3 days. As we get more people in the group it will allow us to organise larger events as more people will get the announcements.

Another goal of the events was to gauge the interest in events in general on the CCG servers, across both exile and wasteland. There was certainly a lot of interest, even though most of these events were simple 'Treasure Hunt' style events. This has certainly encouraged us to persue staging more events on the CCG servers.

Finally, we wanted to see how players would react to different mechanics in the event. For example, the first treasure hunt on tanoa used a lot of mines to protect the safe. Players felt this was just annoying and didn't add anything to the event. As a result, the second event had no mines but the safe was hidden more effectivley. This resulted in the event lasting 3 hours and players needing smoke grenade marks to help them find it. Clearly, this was too long for a simple 'hunt' event. The final event, on wasteland stratis, experimented with the reward being split across multiple containers. This worked quite well as it allowed multiple players to get a reward as opposed to a single player.

Looking to the future of events on CCG, we will be taking a week long break starting today. This time off from staging events will allow us to do two things:

1) Wait for the membership of this group to build

2) Plan even more events

We will be making an announcement when we plan on resuming events.

Regarding future styles of events, we already have a few ideas. We aim to make events a break from the regular gameplay of exile and wasteland. Perhaps use vehicles and objects which are not typically used. As always, we are looking for input from the community! If you have a good idea or suggestion for an event, make a post in the event suggestions discussion in this group.

To finish off, a big thank you to everyone who was willing to spend time on these 'test' events, we hope they were fun to do.
