Server is now Vanilla (read for details)

Last patch was the most anticipated patch for Rust in a great deal of time. We were all hyped, and eventhough new XP system has it's downsides/bugs, it is here.

It's been four days after the patch, and Pluton team have not produced a new working version of Pluton.

So... I'm giving up... kinda.

I'm giving up on Pluton.

I'll take some time and rewrite all my plugins to Oxide, so in the future we won't have the problems we're experiencing right now.

Until then I've turned our server to Vanilla.
I'm gona leave it a small 34 player, 2.5x2.5km size.

Respawn bug finally fixed

Pluton team decided it's time to finally fix the respawn after death bug.

So server is up and running again.

Facepunch decided they gona force blueprint wipe as well, so... Well, couldn't do anything about it.

/remove command added

As requested, I've added a /remove command

You can now remove any building part that you placed typing /remove in chat, and then hitting the building part with a hammer.

There are some restrictions though, to prevent remove abuse:
1. You have to be the player that placed the building part in the first place.
2. You have to have building permissions in the area you're demolishing
3. You can only remove one building block in an hour
4. You can't remove building blocks while you're flagged

Enjoy this new feature, and please, report to me if you have any issues with it.

As always when Facepucnh makes major changes to the game, some things are broken in Pluton.

Pluton team is working on the issues, and server will be updated as soon as they push the new Pluton version out.

Stay tuned, I'll post an anouncement as soon as it's done.

Building Takeover changes

Until today you could only takeover buildings from players that were more then 3 days offline. This has now changed and you can now take over every building part, expcept doors, as long as you have building permissions.

This will prevent griefing, where griefing player would build something around other player base, preventing him to use that base, then he would go offline, which prevented the griefed player to do anything about the blockade.

REMEMBER KIDS:
Have a cupboard protecting your base!
Protect your cupboards!
Don't be griefed!

And if you do get griefed, now you have a solution :p
