Call me Diesel. I'm an asexual diesel engine lover. I'm highly ashamed of the furry fandom because they:
Create porn.
Do annoying role play nonstop.
Rage.
And last but definitely not least, commit crimes. This is rare, though.
I joined this group because the fandom gets hate for a good reason. Because it seriously could be better.

why would we "just let ppl be who thay are"? antro is the combanation of animal and humen, if it was to stand for anything, shouldnt it be the best of bouth? would anyone argue that we should not shoot for the best of bouth worlds? in an over view you would be looking at the cunning and creativity of man temperd by the practicality, and reson of the animal? a large part of the fandom, forces this message of accepting evry one and evrything (unless thay can aruge with it on the internet) when has a true animal ever accepted anything?

Considering all the real big and popular furries are mostly the ones that draw porn or commission it all the time, good luck changing anything. I get what you're trying to do but it's not needed. Sex is part of life, if people can't deal with the fact that we have sex, too bad, the only thing different is that we're in the furry fandom. People need to grow up.

Being a furry for a good 10 years, I've seen much good and bad within the fandom as it's come. Personally you can't easily 'clean up' the fandom as the fandom is what it is and will continue to be what it is until we all die. Still, wanting to 'clean it up' is a noble cause.

You won't be convincing others to change their habits or behaviour if you go about it aggressively; that only places people on the defense, and it'll make them even more stubborn about their ways. Please don't go around harrassing other people, shaming them for whatever qualities they exhibit that you disagree with. Rather, approach them with a calm, informative demeanor, and see if you can convince them that having a more positive image of the furry fandom may benefit themselves, as well as furries as a whole. Well, good luck. I'm leaving, but let me state the following:

Sexuality is not necessarily a bad thing. While discretion and modesty are good qualities to have, so is pride. For those who intertwine their sexuality with their interest in furry, I would say that they should not be forced to always withhold that sexuality, for it is a part of who they are as a living being. Society shames sexuality far too much, particularly the U.S., and I don't think that should be beaten out of us via judgement and and social outcasting, which already occurs. Like I said earlier though, it's good to know when to have *some* discretion, and to know when something truly is inappropriate for the situation or environment. (1/2)
