hey guys i was realy exited for chaser multiplayer and at first chaser and the launcher didnt work.now it does somehow but no one is on the servers.this was my favorite game growing up and i was sad that there was no multiplayer back then ,but now that there is please try to bring it back to life.

i know that probably your not gonna read this,but if you are, please mesage funhaus that you figured out how to make chaser multiplayer and that that they give a shout out or something,flod there comments if you have to,i know i will try.this was ,and still is a great game so to anyone who reads this ,we can make this happen

I've downloaded the CGP launcher and even got the revised game client from Chaser.net , it says there are people in the 1.50 server but when I join it just says "waiting for players". Any solutions?

Remember, we'll be playing on Bad.Omen 1.500, you actually have to have bought the game to play on that server. I suppose you can play on 1.499 if you didn't buy it.

You guys are trying to get a server up? You need to open the UDP port in your router, you can check out this link for a tutorial: http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/

I didn't know how to do that from Java so the 'create server' feature in the CGP Launcher application is partly broken. If you manage to open the port, the ip and port is sent over to our web server so that we can query it and show the data on our website and in the application.

As you all know from Inside Gaming, this game is buggy as hell, but the multiplayer is quite smooth and was extremely competitive in its heyday. The only thing is that the servers can crash often. Good news is we managed to fix all of these problems on the servers we run, if you contact me I'll send you the patched executable!

You are all welcome to join the public servers that we've got up and running. We have 4 servers running in total, 2 on the full version of the game, and 2 on the demo version (you can google search Chaser MP Demo v1.49 for the free install). There's live server data on our website that lists in game players. Our deathmatch server on the full version of the game loops official jowood maps and custom made maps, they're all really fun to play. The other server running Final Strike is the most widely played map, it's team based and that's where clans have always battled it out and tournaments have almost always been held.

If you guys are new to the multiplayer, go to your player options (from inside the game) and set 'Always Run=Yes', and you can set the 'Chat to All' or 'Chat to Team' in your keyboard options. Buying a gun (when you're not in deathmatch) is default set to 'B', the most used weapons are the Winchester & the Aks74u, and I strongly recommend you buy armour!

Hey all, my name is Matt (Spectre) and I'm one of the admins from the original Chaser community.

I met two people from this group in one of our public servers and they told me about this and how you were all eager to play. I can't tell you how amazing this news is for our small community, ever since gamespy shut down the master server and the multiplayer went offline, our 11 year old community has been getting smaller and smaller.

You guys can download the CGP Launcher to play, you can find it here: http://www.chaser-game.net/CGPServerList/tutorial/cgpl_tutorial_en.html some antiviruses will say it's suspicious but this is just because it's not widely used, I assure you though that it is safe to install as I wrote it myself with the sole intention of saving the multiplayer. You will need java installed to run it, sorry about the inconvenience, only knew how to make a GUI in Java.
