I can understand how much stress would be on Squirrel, from the "conversations" I have had with him, he does seem like a nice guy. Just whenever I noticed something, or something to suggest, I did and he sounded fine with it, I guess it was pretty obvious though, the stress it did cause him.
CatCave was a great server, Squirrel was trying to make it excellent, and most people were just taking; I found people who had played for like 3 days (on the counter), and they hadn't donated anything. I don't know how I could've helped out with the stress, I don't really know THOSE coding language(s). We should've given him more support, either mental, or financial.
I do still miss the server, as it was great as it was, from what I could see. Squirrel just had the greatest mindset to go further with the server! But yeah, I do miss it, I miss all you guys. :)

We all will miss the server Matthew :c However, it wasn't really all down to cuts, it was also alot of stress on Squirrel. Everyday he tried to improve the server in many ways and all we did was tell him things need fixing. Most of us didn't even have a proper conversation with him, if you didn't, you have missed out, Squirrel is a great guy. Unfortunetly the server did end, the pressure on Squirrel and the funds have beaten this server. But we shall make a come back guys. Dont you worry ;)

I really did enjoy this server... Coming on every day, having laughs and lots of drama. Watching fails, amazing wins, skill shots, hilarious C4. I don't know what happened. Only a couple weeks after I left to immigrate, the server just lost funds/+budget, the community began to grow mundane (according to other comments) and the server was gone... Well, all good things must come to an end, I just wish this stayed. I miss the happy times where I came on Garry's Mod and saw the server on the server list, the times where I'd log on and people would say hi, and make a joke... But now, it's gone.

Sorry for the server downtime. Our host says that the IP has been nulled AGAIN due to excessive DDoS attacks. Which also means moving to the new server has been delayed for a little bit.

Army Gamer, Money is sometimes a problem yes. Usually we have it sorted. But even if we didn't have enough money I don't think we would use ads, we like CatCave how it is. A fun server which people play on, the reason we are as popular as we are, is because of the community, and Im sure alll of the community would hate to have to listen to ads evertime they die...

Got slain for 8 rounds because a TV I was holding killed someone on the ladder... One round would have been fine, but I guess Silver is just really ban happy. Shame really, It would be a good server apart from that.
