CSPromod's beta 1.4 was released on the 31 of January at 6PM GMT. At the time being, their website ran out of bandwidth due to the insane amount of gamers wanting to test the 1.4 beta.



INSTALLATION
The game is ridiculously easy to install. You download the .exe file right off their website, double click once the download is finished and it will place itself in the correct steam folder. Doesn't get any easier than that.


HUD
The features are simply amazing on the CSPromod hud. It has all the features CS 1.6 and Source have, with a series of other optional elements, such as Players Alive on each team, etc... The customization of all you can think of is amazing in CSPromod; you can really adjust the game so that it fits to your criteria of what you think a game interface should look like.
Downsides are that the player animations such as running, throwing a frag/flash grenade, or dying animations are still a bit sketchy, and that the servers can sometimes be very laggy compared to other Counter Strike dedicated servers. But then again, this is still a beta, and we see heaps of progress by every new beta version that comes out.
We're certainly looking forward to CSPromod beta 1.5!
