When leaving rep on a rep thread, make your comment as accurate as possible. Please leave the amount of keys/items that have been traded, as well as who went first.

I am currently going through reputation threads purging comments that are too ambiguous or unnecessary. Hopefully I'll catch some fake rep on the way.

Hey guys,

The unheard of finally happened! The Stat FN CW Karambit was finally unboxed!!!!

Want to bring up a few things with this event.

If anybody knows the kid, you really should try to get him intouch with the proper people so he can sell that knife legitly. His spurt of good luck shouldnt be shat on because of some bastard kid in his mother's basement who wants to go fuck someone over. The knife is worth a lot of money and is going to be talked about for a while. Its not going to be a cake walk to get the 5 Digit's that knife is worth, however you'll definitely be able to with the right help. First and foremost, DO NOT TRADE THAT KNIFE IMMEDIATELY. Sit on it for a bit, the respectful traders out their who are able to pay that kind of money wouldnt rush you into something, they'd want you tbe completely comfortable in the transaction. Also make sure you're talking with who you say you're talking with ( watch for impersonators). Also, i'd really recommend a bank transfer that or some fool proof way of getting your money, I think this is out of the league of paypal to be honest.

The kid has low play time from what I've heard, if its not a smurf or even if it is and he doesnt have the trading experience that most of us do. Its our job as respectable trader's to make sure we get the kid the help that he needs on that knife. I know a lot of you think its funny posting offers of $15 guns and shit like that, however I've seen it enough in the past where inexperienced people fall for things like that. When they finally learn the mistake they made, it leave's an awful taste in their mouth for a game that they once loved. Nobody would want someone to ruin CS for them, i hope yall wouldnt want to do the same for someone else.

Not only in the case of this knife, but with any other trade's that you do within Steam. Your reputation is worth more than anything you could ever trade for. You'll make a lot more in the long run o

Hey guys, wanted to make you aware of a scammer thats actively seeking targets right now as we speak. I was told about this first thing this moring, the user is trying a Middleman Injection. Basically his friend is the middleman, when they've gotten your items, they both run like girls.

Fake Reputation and what it gets you!!!

Wanted to make a few things apparent. Lately we've been running into more and more fake rep. Just so people know, anytime fake rep is given or someone "trades" reputation illegitimently the owner of the rep thread, along with the person who posted will both be reported on Steamrep.com for "Fake Reputation Vouches" and Banned within CSGOrep.

Fake reputation is taken very seriously, its something that can cause quite a bit of problems for people and ultimately can be the reason for someone losing out on something big due to fabricted trust. Essentially you'll be viewed as someone helping a scammer in turn making you a scammer as well.

Needing Moderators forr CSGORep!!

Currently looking for more moderators to help reduce the workload on myself and other staff. This will require you to go through all the new threads looking for some of the following. Possible fabricated reputation, bland comments that dont feature anything other than +rep, Fake accounts for repuation, Alt Accounts, Steamrep Reported or Marked people.

If you're wanting to apply, simpy speak with me or Spicy Candy. Please keep in mind this is a busy position, also theirs no compensation for the work, lastly it is a thankless job.

Recently theirs been some issues with fake rep.

If its made apparent that you purchased rep via csgolounge. You will be permanently banned, also a steamrep report will be filed against you. Fake rep is something that Steamrep Marks for since it is considered fraud. It is something that CSGOLounge bans for as well.

Secondly, if myself or my staff adds you wanting to confirm the post on your rep thread. You will be required to show them Paypal History, along with Inventory history. the information is kept solely amongst staff and will not be shared at all. If you refuse to provide said information, you will be permanently banned since you are in fact trying to deter our investigation.

Also, posting comments from previous trades done before the creation of your rep thread is not allowed. The reputation on your thread is to be current. Also your post must be concise, if your thread containts post that dont feature what was traded nor anything regarding the actual trade. They will be removed and yourself given a warning.

An example would be "+rep We traded 50 keys for paypal. I went first, all went well" that or "+rep - Traded my M9 Night FN for Skrill. A middleman was used, everything went perfectly"

Lastly, If you find yourself needing a middleman, Samalex and Myself (Junglist Movement). We do not charge for our services, however TIPS ARE APPRECIATED!

Reputation is very serious, its not something to be traded for nor purchased. Its something thats earned! If you feel you know someone thats posted fake rep, please report the thread through the forums or contact staff immediatel.

We of CSGO: Rep! are looking for dedicated individuals within the GO or TF2 Communities with past experience to help manage CSGORep. The rep threads do still need to be reviewed often and this group has the potential to grow. Also looking to move the group out of the Steam Forums and onto their own forums, allowing for use of the SR Plugin and to check for alt accounts. If you plan on helping for just a week then turning your back or losing interest, go elsewhere.
