Server Reset

After the server glitched out, I deleted and reinstalled. I am still working my individual tweaks back in. Due to an error to skins dying, Pointshop will not be coming back.GameTracker scoreboard will be reset upon work complete.

Upcoming tweaks:
- Shooty mega-buff
- End of round music
- Traitors will be 2 out of 6
- Thompson G2 will be back to pistol slot
- Locamotive will be in pistol slot
- Traitor mini-gun is usable
I am also going to look into an "innocent" shop to make their experience mode individualized. No guarantees, though.

Lastly, Hasman has started an admin email address, which I'll look into adding a Paypal for donations (not that it is needed, costs are nominal).

I happened to catch the patch when looking at server stats. The numbers of players have fallen off, and I'll keep this going in case it's just a cycle for now. I may end up discontinuing the server if there isn't more interest. If my players want to switch Steam based game servers, they can always ask.

During the downtime, I will be clean reinstalling all servers: adding a third system to run the admin web panel I use.

I'm having some issues with the download and DDNS sites I use, so expect minimal slows, downtime, or changes. I hope the servers are still reachable from your history.

The site dnsdynamic.org is a free site I use to keep my address easy for players to remember/recognize and IP off public sites, though I guess it doesn't matter. The site went down sometime Fri or Sat. At the moment I am continuing with the straight IP until I can gather if it's coming back.

The other thing going on is that my FastDL made an error when I paid them this month, and created a second one rather than extending the first's time. This means at time of expire I'll have to redo everything over again. Rather than that, I am using one of my Google accounts to make a FastDL out of Google Drive. I can't tell how it'll go, but it's free with 5x the space and no bandwidth limit.

If a motivated player wants to start adding content (which I've been dragging my feet on), I now have the server remotely accessible.

I really have been bumbling around on this stuff, and it's way outside my comfort zone: thus my motivation has been lacking. I've never been much for dealing with code, I enjoy setting up network structures and getting computers to talk. The "MotD" and loading screen are HTML while GMOD add-ons are lua, so anyone that knows how (or watched a YouTube video) and would like to get their hands dirty, feel free to ask about this wonderful opportunity.

IP, Name Change, Added Maps

My internet provider finally decided to change my IP after a year. I'm not signed up for a static IP, and I'm just using my home service for these games, so it was bound to happen. If you had it in favorites, you'll have to reestablish it.

In other news, I have changed the name of the server to illustrate this is a community server more than my own. I, also, add 40 maps to the server, many you've played here or elsewhere. The skins are going to have to be added individually, as I'll have to create a point shop file for each one with the price and other info in it.

Servers Coming Back Up

Once again I'll be running 2 GMOD (TTT and Prop Hunt) servers. "A Fist Full of Frags" server might be coming as well.

The Minecraft Servers are running as well.

GMod Servers not cooperating

I tried to reinstall the OS then STEAM and I'm having more trouble than the first time. I'm not totally sure the Gmod servers are coming back, since their flare and usefulness has withered.
