SPOILERS: I wouldn't expect duck and oliver turning into transformers and fighting eachother to the death, or the twins thing. Literally all of this is not expected.

Yeah but its still the worst era of Thomas and Friends.

It also allowed for a more variety of characters, and better looks for them. The steam team got valve gear, something they didn't have. Plus, Daisy no long has a huge, stretched out, oversized face. And the voice actors do a fine job.
