Hello. I am new to this group. Unfortunately, SEGA banned me in their forum. So I'm decided to boycott all of SEGA games including Total War series just like TotalBiscuit boycott SEGA for removing all of Shining Force series videos on YouTube including TotalBiscuit who lost all of his Shining Force III videos along with other YouTubers who lost their Shining Force series videos and sometime get banned on YouTube.

Rome 2's epic failure was unacceptable. It took months for me to play the game but by that time all the buzz for it died with all the crashes...

i know that the next TW-game isn´t going to be bought by me if i do not hear good things from real players, not the players CA introduced and what CA is telling us. They where all lies and got my hopes up that where crushed in the first 30 minutes of gameplay...

My faith in CA is gone forever

This game is horrifically designed. I don't know how they managed to go so wrong but I think they are beyond saving. I'd lay the blame at the door of the Lead Designer. Bugs can be patched but bad design cannot be repaired.

a total war beginning in the 1400's where you can take control of any faction in the world at that time

And also i would like to see a unit creator where by researching technologies you are granted more options to make certain units.
These units would have stats which would cost you depending on the skill (i.e poor morale=cheap, great morale=expensive) and also a way to customise your troops (i.e creating a Lancer with a fast horse but no armor or creating a heavily armored spearman)

I think this would allow players to make their own tactics and not follow pre-determined ones (i.e Parthia shoots and runs, Greek States goes into full melee mode)

Finally a group I can Rely on! lol this is BS but happily i knew it was going to be the case before release. I talk my self out of buying, relying on reviews from the same people who give Shogun 2 a near perfect but give Rome 2 a half plus. You know Total war is held to high standards when even a glitchy at release game like Shogun 2 got high marks. So I could only imagine Rome 2 when its reviews were worse; I just pictured Empire. Sadly :(

I hate what they did with Rome 2 Total Fail... But is this just a RAGE fest?

ive had know problems with TWR2 and i really do enjoy the game but what pissed me off the most is...here is a list

1 the AI is as dumb as ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

2 the game does not even look like the game they should

3 they let all the fans down but not fixing the game of corse there is going to be some problems with a new game but....4 months

4 CA lied

5 15 bucks to fight in gaul.

But that isnt Cheating. Anyway it isnt rly a problem, because they stand still. It is your fault, when you use a Debug Camera and dont see it;)

The bug in Shogun 2 is that Yari Ashigaru in spearwall sometimes do not route. Flag shows routing but troops keep standing there and keep on fighting. You can also let Ashigaru units run faster so they reach the dojo´s mutch faster than you (old bug thats been in use very long time by certain players).

No game is perfect but Shogun comes close and Rome keeps getting farther away...

CA just needs to work on making the game engine and a showcase and then let modders make the game.

I only came for cake. That, and the obliteration of CA, the drawing and quartering of employees who worked on Rome 2, the bludgeoning of their grandmas and their kittens, the forming of a new company for the franchise that cares and the demand for a better Total War game next time. But mostly, however, I came for cake.

Since patch 8...I can't launch my game. The more important thing actually is not the game broken...ok yes it's is but upon this, is the fact that CA seems totally unskilled in making their game today. They release 8.1 patches...and what? Some have still important bugs, they broke game who works perfectly BEFORE the patch (as mine)...They're not honnest, they still making thing by half " We have no "disperse button why did you do that?" "Ok so now you have the button...but only a few roman unit" WTF?? Anyway, the team that make R2TW is tottaly incompetents!

My prefer Total War was Shogun 2 because I love the Japan, but somes problem, with only castle to defend (not city like RTW and MTW, M2TW). But in online they are a lot of cheater with they're Ashigaru or other unit. But in campaign it's good game

Also... where the ♥♥♥♥ is TW Arena. Free to play if it ever comes out. But yes, they can´t make any money with Arena so why expect it to be good if they can´t produce results with a game you´ve paid 55+ euros for.

CA has lost a longtime fan that used to buy everything on disc if possible...

There is some kinda meeting thing and I am a little confused on what to do...

It´s CA that did the promotion, publicity and nothing they said was true... and i was expecting a great game with a few bugs, not a great bug with no game

Played over 5.000 houres total war and couldn´t believe Rome 2 was actually a TW game...
It´s even worse than Shogun 1 from 10+ years ago

It truly is a shame with what happened to Rome 2 especially since the same guys gave us the brilliant gem that was Shogun 2. Being an avid fan since Rome Total War i think that this community is a great idea to voice the opinions of the great community. If you want rapid exponential growth than advertise on the subreddit r/totalwar to all the other disgruntled fans

Since the release of Total War: SHOGUN 2 we expected better from Total War: Rome II. Instead, we got what was clearly a beta version of the game claiming to be the Full Version of it. Not only that, but the recent DLCs that amend to almost half the cost of what the full game is only backs the money-grabbing motives that have recently come over Rome II. If new DLCs are coming out as the series is still broken, what effort did they really put into improving this game? I fear for what will be a repeat of Call of Duty when they do not fix this issue by the time the next Total War game comes out.
