Spy model has a mask

So, i start blender and import a smd spy model. And what happens? The spy model has a mask for some reason, and i cant model anything to his face. I can remove the mask by deleting it, but its time consuming and is not that efective. Is there any way i could remove the mask with a click of a button?

There isn't really a way to delete it with 1 button press, but you can easily select the whole thing by (in edit mode) hovering over one of the mask vertices, pressing "L", and then deleting the selected vertices.
