Valve and Modelers under 18

I am currently working on a scout hat, but I am not 18 years old yet. Does anyone know valve handles modelers, who are still underage? ( yes, I tried googling it already :D)
Considering the age of most people I meet on Steam I am pretty sure there is someone here, who had to deal with a similiiar kind of problem.
It is not exactly a big problem since I enjoy modeling and will turn 18 in September, but I am mainly just courious.

I don't really know if they handle it any differently. I have a pretty successful workshop friend who is under 18. I'm guessing your parents will have to deal with the monetary side of things until you can do it yourself. No shame in that, though.
