TF2 Modeling Tutorial + Linux

Hi ALL!
TF2 Modeling Tutorial required Programs:

Blender - http://www.blender.org/
Photoshop - http://www.photoshop.com/
GCFscape - https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/GCFScape
SMD Tools - https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Blender_SMD_Tools
MDLdecompiler - https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Mdldecompiler

Blender (better) work on linux, Photoshop can be replaced — Gimp (and better. example Import GIMP Image to Scene[wiki.blender.org], SMD Tools also work.

But GCFscape and MDLdecompiler — these programs windows only.
Who knows the alternatives? Or link to source code (if need help with porting. i can help)
How to build the same working process, but on linux (and maybe mac)?

For seed — NetRadiant[ingar.satgnu.net] or GtkRadiant[icculus.org] for Quake world

According to someone's comment in the Crowbar Tool group, Crowbar (MDL Decompiler replacement) works on Linux using Mono ( mono ./Crowbar.exe ). Also, I intend to provide source code for Crowbar soon.

I'd be interested in helping make an open-source tool to replace GCFScape.

Me too. Someone must to start

Why mono? Well, I simply made Crowbar for Windows using the .NET Framework. Someone else tried it out on Linux using Mono, because Mono is the .NET Framework equivalent on Linux. In other words, I did not intentionally make Crowbar to work on Linux; it just happens to run on Linux.

As for making an open-source tool to replace GCFScape, I probably will not start on that until I get further along in Crowbar development. I'd also likely make it for Windows using .NET Framework and expect it to work on Mono, too.
