Freezes after loading tga file.

So i followed the tutorial on how to make a hat and using the new item test in the game. I load up the model and preview it. It works fine.
But when i load the tga and try to preview it. It freezes.

Just for testing purposes I used only a cylinder shape, basic unwrap and flat color 512 tga texture.

Check your dxlevel settings if you've messed with those

Thanks for the reply,
The problem turned out to be my virus scanner. Everytime the preview window tried to open up, my virus scanner thought maybe its a virus or something lol.
