Weapon tris limit, seriously?
Hi guys, thanks to HellJumper's tutorials I learnt how to do models for TF2, I made then a reskin for the scout's based on his stock scattergun, I read that the limit for hats is 1000, and for the weapons is 6500, now the problem is whenever I try to put my High Lod model onto the workshop it says to me that I reach the maximum triangles limit, and it's 1400.
Why? Isn't the weapon limit 6500? Also on "Type of Model" I have only "Hat" and "Misc".

My model's triangle is 6244, for curiosity I wanted to see the scattergun's ones, and it has about 6300+ triangles.
I checked also the Backscatter's ones, it's about 6000+ triangles.

What am I doing wrong?

You aren't doing anything wrong. The in-game importer doesn't support weapons. Compile it manually.
