Remove the bone parent. To make the character hold the weapon all you need is a weapon bone with the same name as a character bone; the parent of the Blender object is irrelevant.

If you're desperate to see the weapon moving correctly in Blender you can always parent the weapon's armature to the character bone. :)

Are you using qc_eyes.exe? It should be in your engine folder.

What are you having trouble with specifically?

This is a known Blender/Python bug caused by having non-ASCII characters in your Windows user profile name.

You can work around it by creating a new user account, or by manually extracting the Tools to the Blender\2.69\scripts\addons\ folder under Program Files.

You probably exported the animation without also exporting the reference mesh, or the other way round. Once both had been exported with the fixed tools, they lined up again.

You will see Visual C++ Runtime error R6034 when you export a DMX file from an official Blender build. This error is harmless, and will only be seen once per Blender session.

The easiest fix is deleting the VC++ 2008 Runtime libraries distributed with Blender. Browse to your Blender install directory and delete these three files:

• msvcm90.dll
  
• msvcp90.dll
  
• msvcr90.dll

If Blender stops working after you delete these files, install the VC++ 2008 Redistributable package (32-bit[www.microsoft.com]/64-bit[www.microsoft.com]).
