You have to do it manually.

My guess is that you need to parent your model parts to the main model then export.
This is what happens to me when I have two independant objects and I export them.

See Source units? You already see them, though. One (standard) Blender unit = One Source unit. Maybe you mean see a Source model? Install the Source SDK (in Steam > Library > Tools). Not one of the "bases". Then import Steam/steamapps/common/sourcesdk_content/ /tf/modelsrc/player/class/parts/dmx/class_morphs_low.dmx. These models are Y-up, so set that when importing if you want. You are correct. It's with $UpAxis

Check that cdmaterial in qc points to right direction then make sure material file points to right texture also.

You've probably imported a delta animation. They are designed to be played on top of other animations, and due to an odditiy in the SMD format that means they are 90 degrees offset. You should correct that before re-exporting.

Hello! I have a strange problem where when I switch from my idle animation to another animation, my prop rotates. It's like the bones used in animating had an offset rotation.

Maybe because its not rigged to the right bone? e.g if you try merge a hat with a playermodel, you would have to first merge it and then assign every hat face to head bone.

Maybe "idle.smd" doesn't have that bone at the right spot. Try changing $sequence idle "idle.smd" to $Sequence idle "neighbor_hater.smd"

By the way, $StaticProp removes ALL bones, and replaces them ALL with a static_prop at 0 0 0 with a rotation of 0 0 0, so that also removes Bone.Noz_01, Bone.Noz_02 and Bone.Wig (and all other bones).

So basically I've parented one bone to my mesh and my attachment point is fine but when I add another bone then the second one doesn't get registered when I compile the model.

For example, when I create an attachment here http://puu.sh/hy5Kk/013165e007.jpg (arrow's end), and another attachment where the circle is, attachment point 2 will be the same as 1.

So when I define attachment point 1 and two, two's parent bone becomes that of the first.
