could you link a video for "the work in between"?

I'm trying to get an mmd file to gmod (to help my friend and for myself) so I can use it in-game.
could someone give me a text tutorial on how to get the mmd file into blender and export it.
(i know there are probably a bunch of answers here, but they're all spreaded around and I feel like I'll miss something and get it wrong)
