The API has changed greatly and as such the plug in needs to be updated. Go to the Blender website and just re-download the previous version of Blender.

Are you talking about the verts on the glasses by the nose bridge? If so I think it might be that they are weight painted to another bone.

When you click download does your browser give you an option to open the file or save as? If so click on Save As and then do the steps outlined above.

Are you trying to install the add-on? If so use the import add-on function.

To get to it:

1. Press (Ctrl+Alt+U) This takes you to User Preferences
   
2. Click on Add-ons tab
   
3. On the bottom, click on Install from File...
   
4. Browse to where you have the file and click on Install from File...

It looks like the eyes do not have the proper shader attached to them.

This should point you to the set up of the eye material.

This goes into more delay on how to achieve the effect.

Its not hard to get the effect going but you do want to take it slow and double check your values. Do remember that Source reads the Y-axis as up and Blender reads the Z-axis as up so keep that in mind when authoring your values.

What are you compiling it into?

I checked that model in the model viewer and it looks to be broken there as well.

I was also able to recreate your problem on my machine.

Have you tried looking at other models and doing the same?
