missing texture
anyone knows how to fix it?

Check the console for errors, such as where the VMT and/or VTF is supposed to be located, and then move the VMT and/or VTF into their proper locations.

There is nothing in the tutorial about making VMTs nor VTFs, both of which are required for having textures in Source.

Add this to qc file
$cdmaterials "models\materials\folder name\"

Usually, $BaseTexture.
