FR/EN - Can't export my animations to gmod
Hello,
I've been searching for tutorials and trying to export an animated model from blender to gmod since few months now... but I still can't make it :steamfacepalm:

I successfully exported several props, but the animation is quite difficult.
I have got so far to viewing my animation in the Crowbar view model tool, but it didn't play in-game.

Here I am asking for any help, exporting to gmod from blender isn't easy and I know the skeletal animation/sequences aren't well documented as I can't find a tutorial younger than 10yo or one exporting to gmod.

Can anyone suggest a tutorial or even guide me through the steps?

So if you tell that in model viewer it works, then everything ok.

Not working ingame depends on what you willing to use the model for. For weapon you need to additionally program lua which tells how to play these animations.

For mapping, you place it as prop_dynamic and specify which animation to play.

Uhm I would like to start from the beginning, fact is that I have done a chest with a working animation, but that was several months ago and I forgot what I have done or the tutorial that helped me...

I'm stuck on the exporting part where I can't export the animations right

i have my chest that has an idle and opening sequences.
they are working in the viewer, and i would like to create a dynamic prop to create content for my addons

The result i'm searching for is to animate an entity : have you already seen addons on darkrp such as Mining systems or Printers that are animated? That's what I try to do
