Eyelashes - Blender to SFM
I would be most grateful for some help in this area. I have sucessfully exported my first model from blender to sfm . However, while the models eyelashes appear"as they should" in blender on exporting the model to sfm they no longer do. So my question is:- how do I set the models eyelashes materials/textures up in blender so that they appear correctly in sfm ?

You don't set them up in Blender so they appear correctly in Source. The only things exported from Blender with the Blender Source Tools are meshes and animations, not materials nor textures.

The eyelashes' vtf-texture for SFM should have alpha channel, and $translucent 1 (or $alphatest 1) should be existing in eyelashes' vmt-file.

It doesn't matter how the model looks in blender, the BST only takes material's name, so you should set up material for source engine separately from from blender
