Preset DMX files. (This ones for you ArtFunkel! lol)
In SFM I can create preset files on the fly. These usually export as <!-- dmx encoding binary 5 format movieobjects 18 --> files. Using DMXConvert I can convert these files to TEX (Text) version DMX files.

Is there a way to have these import onto a model in Blender using BleST? I mean they are nothing more than flex/shapekey values.

I would just like to be able to access these and maybe create presets in blender if possible?? (or maybe be able to view the precanned presets available for a model in Blender)

This is the current error I get when I try to import the dmx onto a model...

It's not supported but could be done relatively easily using the existing Datamodel module. I'm not sure that I want to venture very far into SFM-specific features though. This might be better as a separate add-on maintained by someone else.

It's not Source FilmMaker-specific at all. Maybe unless you take the "FilmMaker" part out. (Yes, it's Source-specific.)
Team Fortress 2's unused(?) "HWM" models also have "preset" files for emotions, phonemes, and visemes, and in fact those are the ones loaded by Source FilmMaker when spawning Source FilmMaker's own "HWM" models, not some Source FilmMaker-specific versions of them.

A preset is basically just an extra slider for the model which affects multiple other sliders, and can be used by probably many versions of the Source Engine.
