Too many bone influences per vertex
I am getting this error when I am trying to compile the .qc file. In the tutorial I am following it said that if this happens to increase the "Wright Link Cull Threshold" to 0.25 however I have tried 1.00 and still the error keeps coming up.

Set the "weight link cull threshold" to at least 0.5 for good results (just turn it all the way up to 1.0, though), then make sure to re-export all DMXs used by the QC. Then try to compile it again.

Did all that and it still comes up.

Save the Blender session, close Blender, copy the session somewhere else, reboot Blender, open the "new" session, and export all the DMXs in the new location. Then copy the QC and move it over to the new location too. (Change $CD in the QC to match if you have it.) What about now?

I'll try that.

Try exporting SMDs

That is also an option, but it is still very worth figuring out if there's a human error or a program error at play here.

Again I have the same problem. Perhaps the tutorial I am been following is outdated or the model has some other problem.

If it helps this is one of the models I am trying to get over. Mkx models have been ported over in the past so I don't know why it isn't working now. http://romero1718.deviantart.com/art/Shinnok-Corrupted-540655765

Can I see a screenshot of the Blender interface at the moment you'd click on "Export"? (Make sure to keep the weight link cull threshold value visible in the screenshot.)
