Questions of a New Modder
I'm really not good with explaining this sort of thing, but I'm gonna try my best.

I'm currently trying to make a playermodel out of a ported model I found on Sketchfab, I found a tutorial on YouTube that's showing me what to do, except for one small issue that I ran into.

Not only is the model I found already rigged with bones (that I'm not sure work universally or not, as I am extremely new to both Source modding and Blender) but the preexisting playermodel I'm getting the bones from seems to automatically fuse with the ported model's rig, while keeping it's own bones separate.

Any clue as to what I do here?

You can just delete old sceleton after merging, and check the linkage structure after.
