is anyone else having issues with Blender Source Tools in 3.0?
When I switched over to 3.0 it sorted of worked, the panel showed up but the export options were more empty.

I couldn't switch between smd or dmx format, and exporting in general did not seem to work.

I tried removing the old one from my 2.93 settings and installing 3.1.1 but I'm getting a Traceback error, I apologize if that's too vague.

I'm running the zip version of Blender because it's more convenient for me, could that be causing problems? I have friends that use the Steam version of Blender that have no issues at all.

Unfortunately I was able to get Source Tools working properly in 3.0, but I can't remember what change I made that made it work.

Before I was removing and reinstalling with no luck, taking the io folder from the zip and putting it into the addons folder manually, copying the 2.93 version of that folder to the 3.0 addons folder, and using the addon files from my friend's blender files that worked in 3.0. But doing it again now it installs without any trouble. I didn't save any screenshots of the error reports and I think this was just a false alarm, apologies.

You probably just needed to restart Blender. Don't worry though, I'd always prefer that people report errors that they see. :)
