Compile Set up problem for GoldSrc Models (I Need Help Please)
I'm currently trying to assist with the model compile in this discussion

however I have run into a snag trying to set up BleST to compile the model.

From what I understand GoldSrc models requires the liblist.gam file instead of the gameinfo.txt file to compile. When I point BleST2.10.2 at the required file, the text box remains red. I've tried selecting the file outright, but it only brings the folder into the box.

What am I doing wrong here?

I guest BleST simply doesn't support compiling models. That GoldSrc thing was added just because one guy contributed the feature for his needs.

I suggest just drag'n'drop qc file into studiomdl.exe for goldsrc

nah, if BleST doesn't support the liblist.gam as a compile source file for GoldSrc, the compile interface in Crowbar does. I can switch to that. However, I thought I'd post my problem here in case i was doing something wrong or something in BleST was broken. Not many compile for GoldSrc anymore and I can understand why it would be depreciated but it's always better to have more tools than none.

Thanks Atfunkel, This is good to know.
With the GoldSrc button as an export option in BleST I assumed that compiling was supported as well. As I said, I can compile with drag and drop onto the StudioMDL required or with Crowbar so this is not a biggy.
