Stereo controller in Source 2
Lately I've been trying to make the Stereo controllers work in the Dota 2 workshop tools as an experiement ( Source 2 ). Besides that there is no official support for Wrinklemaps / eye controllers (or dmxedit in general), there is the functionality for stereo flexes / correctives / control groups.

I couldn't find any documentation about the "Morph Target Weights"[i.imgur.com] either.

( COMBO() is the corrective shapes, NWAY() seems to take care of the _multi shapes, but no information about 2WAY_0, or 2WAY_1, these are generally not documented at all? )

So I tried to export the model from Blender with Advanced Flex Properties
( Controller source: saxton_head_stereotest_controller.dmx )

However it seems the left_ side of the controller doesn't work. I want to belive this is an error with the Engine itself, I'd still like to report it here just in case it is an issue with the export.

Source 2 seems to build these morph rules automatically, there is no issue with the HWM face functionality (Correctives are working really well!), only the Stereo control seems to not work. I haven't found any Dota 2 models with Stereo controls so I couldn't give any reference from the game itself.

The DMX files I used[sta.sh] (Exported with latest Dota 2 binaries: D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\dota 2 beta\game\bin\win64\)

Any help in this matter would be heavily appriciated, either if It's an engine error, or the way I complied the model I really want to find a way to make this work, because creating left_ right_ flexes for each shape manually would be very tedious.

Having messed around a bit I'm also leaning toward this being an engine bug, particurarly given the lack of any examples in Dota 2's content. The left-hand flex doesn't pick anything up even if I mess directly with the stereo split values. But if I turn stereo off then it's all right there.

Yea It seems like it. Thank you for your input. I just hope they add more of the S1FM features and dmxedit features + fix this issue. S2FM seems really promising, but It's not continously updated nowdays.

Can't the exact same be said about Source 1 FilmMaker, though? (Yes, I'm aware that Source 1 FilmMaker is more "complete" than Source 2 FilmMaker, but still. And yes, I know that Source 1 supports stereo-flexes of this manner, but Source 2 also has features Source 1 doesn't.)

S1FM at this point is pmuch forgotten, I'm also not sure if they even readed my bug report. Hard to tell because some people claim they only read reddit, but posting this 'bug' here would get downvoted to hell. I also sent them a mail to the SFM team / Dota 2 Dev forum, I can only pray this gets fixed soon.
