Issues on Model´s textures after edit the decompiled model (Solved)
Hello, i am having an issue where everytime i edit a decompiled model to just change something from it, or joining a model into another model, textures ends up affected looking weird. In a way that they seems to get another contrast and strange shadows.

Here is a screenshot showing exactly what i mean: https://www.dropbox.com/s/nlmnvu63e1fadii/20170318161321_1.jpg?dl=0

ISSUE SOLVED, SOLUTION:
Blender when importing makes all the surfaces join together. Go to the wrench icon on the model, choose 'add modifier', and add 'edge split'. This solves the texture issues on imported models.

What happens if you compile the decompiled model without changing it?

In that case, it would remain as the original. I tested this and Crowbar does not cause the issue.

I'm certain this is due to imported SMDs by default being "welded" and smoothened, meaning the pillars are no longer flat-shaded once they're imported. The "preserve normals"(?) option keeps this from happening... but makes it a bit harder to edit. (Alternatively you could just flat-shade the pillars manually.)

I figured out why this happens, Blender when importing makes all the surfaces join together. So, going to the wrench icon on the model, then click on 'add modifier', and choosing 'edge split' will solve this texture issue.
