BoB, at the moment, is a peaceful place compared to my hectic life. And that has led me to completely forget about it for a day.

Sorry to the event goers last week, the BoB team were in the middle of nowhere and couldn't host. Situations like these, I have discovered, are unavoidable but from now on I'll try to warn you before everyone disappears for a week instead of telling you after.

This week is pretty calm, we've got our normal schedule of course, gaming on Wednesday afternoon and Saturday morning. Come hang out on Discord anytime, we've got a dedicated call time on Thursday afternoon, we've got our a page where you can see the specifics.

Ok guys… I’m tired. I’m tired of only writing one post a week over a small subject. The website has been graced from these posts, for the most part. But we will all be graced by the new idea I had to climb a mountain and spend hours, nay, days of meditation to come up with.

I can just write about several things on the same week.

A while back I mentioned that Starcraft I had become free (if you don’t have it, get it, because it’s fun, it could run on a toaster, and it’s, get this, free). Anyway, the reason Starcraft’s developers have been so generous is that Starcraft remastered is coming out by the end of August! The remastered and original versions will be able to play with each other, so now is a good time to get in the game.

Do you have Unturned and everything about it? Then I have good new for you! For the first time in a month we’re going to be playing something other than Unturned on Saturday morning. From 9AM-12PM CT we’ll be playing minigames on a Minecraft server. Skywars, build battles, death run, all of that sort of thing.

Do you think Unturned is the best thing ever created? Then I have good news for you! 07/07/17 (this Friday) is Unturned’s 3 year anniversary! With the anniversary a new map is being released, the map is set in Germany and the trailer is on Youtube, I suggest you check it out. Tank Man, the owner of the BandofBards server may or may not update the server to be in Germany by this Friday. Either way, I’m going to hop on and play this Friday.

Both Fandom Freaks and our whole website is getting a new way of doing things, it’s a little too early in development to tell you about it all. I’d still like to let you know that we’re always improving this place, and having a bit of fun while doing so.

I have something for you gamers! You should already know about the weekly challenges on our website. But those are usually for the non-gaming part of the community. This weeks challenge seems specically for us and has been my favorite so far.

This week's challenge is to take a screenshot or selfie of yourself playing some game made before 1985. Then post that on the fandomfreaks channel of our Discord server. The winner gets eternal glory so I suggest to go check it out.

If you've visited our website recently then you should know that the BoB mod team was going to be busy for a week or two. If not, I'm sorry we've been inactive for two weeks without warning. Regardless, everyone is settled and business is now as usual. There are new BoB talks, upcoming events, and Fandom Freaks challenging, you can check all of that out on our website.

Along with a new website we have also started a new Discord channel. Discord, if you didn't know, is a communication program like Steam chat but with a more laid back approach that better suits the group. It'll also be nice for those who don't have Steam, since it has a fast download.

Discord is where we'll be hosting our BoB Calls every Thursday afternoon. BoB Calls are an opportunity to just hang out with your friends for a while. I like talking, but I don't talk much in game other than how we're going to die or not die. BoB Calls are officially at 3:00-3:30 Thursday afternoons where we just chat and hang out, we might hop into a game after that, we could also have a unofficial BoB Call at any time, so make sure you keep an eye on Discord.
