I agree with the idea of creating a list of games we all own. I plan to start setting up some things to help generate a list of games folks want to play, or have, that we can group up in.

There are tons of MMOs we can group up in, for example, that are free to play.

Besides Team Fortress 2? My first guesses would be Garry's Mod, Left 4 Dead 1 or 2, and (through the free game Synergy,) any of the Half-Life 2 games.

We should try to find games that we have that we can group up in. Problem is, we don't know what others have. What are some common games that each of us have?

@Scruffy: We're not specifically, exclusively, necessarily, nor strictly a Team Fortress 2 group. We're a Steam group, and we'd like to be open to any Steam multiplayer game. This includes Left 4 Dead 1+2, Dota 2, Portal 2, Team Fortress 2, and perhaps Garry's Mod, to name a few. Additionally, this Steam group can be used to let people know about non-gaming, non-Steam events.

It's not that every brony group is affiliated with TF2, it's literally almost every steam group is affiliated with TF2. It's a free to play Valve game!
